    ^And Rich Fulcher.

Was meaning to watch The Hangover on LoveFilm but instead found myself watching a Kevin Bacon-starring drama called The Woodsman. He plays a paedophile who's just done a long stint in prison and gets parole, starts work in a lumber mill, and is monitored by a shrink and a very snarky detective (played by Mos Def, who's pretty decent in this). Decent but very low key, a bit beige, but probably the only time you'll see a film where Kevin Bacon asks an 11 year old girl to sit on his lap.

Ah, nothing like a mild-mannered paedo drama to herald Christmas Day in!!!

Tokyo Drift was dreadful. Nothing to do with cars or any form of real driving. Crap plot, crap characters, it was a duffer all over.

I could be wrong but Im pretty sure that drift racing IS a real form of driving, but anyway...

I am not actually a driver or someone who gets turned on by cars or anything but I enjoy the fast and furious films just becuase they are fun action movies and Tokyo drift is no different, it's pretty well made, has some exciting sequences and is just very enjoyable, it's just typical of the series and IMO one of the better ones in it.

I really like the movies overall, just not the third on. The drifting all looks too fake to be any good.

Tokyo drift remains my favourite f+f movie.......screw the haters! ^^

I like it too. It's Karate Kid with cars and it's about the only one that sort of lives up to the racing premise. Love the fifth, in spite of the lack of racing and fancy cars, but Tokyo Drift is loads of fun.

Initial D was a better drifting movie.

The F&F movies are such a guilty pleasure of mine. In order:

                  Fast 5 > 2Fast 2Furious > Tokyo Drift > Fast & Furious (4) > The Fast & The Furious (1)

                    Xmas night viewing.

The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a (teen) Warrior
                    - Mediocre tv movie that never reaches the so bad it's good threshold. Progressively changes through out the filem. Starts out as a bad SG1/Spartacus (well 300 first but...) and switches between many different styles, Gladiator, Jason (Argonauts), Power Rangers, Tree House of Horrors 6 (Homer in 3d world), Indy. Don't expect any pay off in the end.

The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption - Tedious slog.
First 30 mins dreadful. If you ever have to watch this, watch the first 2-3 mins then skip to 30 mins. Then when you're bored skip to 1:05.

... a ninja does a wall jump off an Elephants leg.

... Guy taking a piss in a pool. Ninja jumps out and kicks him in the balls.

                    Polystyrene statues.

If you ever have to watch this read those spoilers and don't watch it. Don't expect any pay off in the end.

The biggest offense is there are a few Taiko drum style bits but they sound like a pen being tapped on a desk.

Just finished watching Sherlock Holmes in preparation for going to see the sequel tomorrow night.

                      Still love it.
So well directed, well written, RDJ is awesome & it's just plain great.

Hoping for much more of the same in the sequel tomorrow.

A couple today, Jarmusch's Coffee And Cigarettes and that weird Joaquin Phoenix 'documentary', I'm Still Here. C&C was typical Jarmusch, slow and talky and aimless but was worth it for the bit where Bill Murray meets Gza and The Rza from the Wu, and the Coogan/Molina scene, plus Cate Blanchett looks hawt as a brunette. I'm Still Here would've been a lot better had I not known its 'secret', but was still pretty decent.

                          There's seriously a Scorpion King 2 and 3?!

Funny you should mention F+F, my bro got the collection on Bluray today so I look forward to watching them again and the newest one.

Just watched Evolution on tv. Was really fun to watch and didn't take itself seriously at all.

Inbetweeners movie. As someone who loves the TV show, this is hard to say. It was pish. Hmmm, easier to say than I thought......
