Review on Hitfix is not good. I didn't read it all because there's a point where he warns of spoilers but the headline sort of says it all. That said, he says about the original: "'TRON' really doesn't work. It's poorly staged, poorly paced, and never quite brings all its ideas together. It is a visual marvel, but inert." I totally disagree with that so I'm hoping I'll end up disagreeing about Legacy too. Here's the review - http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/motion-c...ly-disappoints

Bah, just recieved an e-mail. Due to weather conditions they arn't shipping it out till the 8th now. Hope the weather doesn't get any worse. :/

Yeah, I just got that. It sucks.

Spags, I hope you're right! What's making me nervous is that the last time I was this hyped about a movie, it was Star Wars Ep1...

Big lols! There is nothing in Tron2 as bad as Ep1, trust me! Though a couple of scenes did remind me of Ep1, thankfully they were the best bits of that cinematic travesty.

Been listening to the soundtrack sampler thing, its been bringing it all fondly back to me while sat at work...would rather be on the grid with those albino bitches tbh!

The OST's on the internets, wondering whether to download it or not. I could wait until Monday and have that warm fuzzy herd feeling of listening to it with everyone else but it'll be out of context either way as the film's not out yet, and we've already got the email about the weather conditions.

Besides, I already have that Feist documentary coming out on Monday to get excited about.

I downloaded earlier. I probably need to listen to it some more. But for now I think it's ok. Was exPecting it to be alot better. Maybe I just hyped it to much for myself, can't wait to hear your guys opinions.

I just flicked through it, comparing the tracks to the rough cuts that appeared earlier in the year. I need to see the film first. On their own, I can't really appreciate them properly, other than the feeling of 'flipping heck I can't believe DP did these'

Gonna check this out if its still on next week! Amazing scenes...

The full projection mapping sequence from the HP ePrint & TRON: Legacy Experience on the the roof of the QEH on London’s Southbank, late Nov/early Dec…

I've listened to the OST and I'm loving the sound they've caught for this. It sounds Tron to a tee. I'm strangely addicted to the End Credit track, I think it's gonna be a belter to end the film on.

I listened to that 20-minute sampler of the soundtrack and loved it. It's clearly score, not a Daft Punk album and yet it has that total electronic cool that they bring. Can't wait for the full release.

I rewatched the original Tron last night. Definitely a flawed masterpiece. The pacing, particularly right at the start, where I'd say they lost the interest of many viewers, is very odd. And there's also a strange lack of emotion that seems entirely unintentional. But once it gets going, I love it. The look is still amazing. The ideas behind the structure of the computer I just think is spot-on. An amazing piece of work.

                        But a very odd one.

I understand what you mean (a score). The only thing that disappoints is the tracks don't really go on enough to be of much worth though. It would of been a blinder if some of the tracks went on longer.

I think it sounds like Vangelis a bit with Hans Zimmer mixed in. Its grown on me now, i've listened to it through a couple of times. Can't wait to rip it and put it on my iPhone.

I can't say I'm that impressed with the soundtrack. Too much film soundtrack and not enough Daft Punk if you know what I mean.

It did make me want to play Mass Effect again though
