Looks good. Pity it has lost the charm and humour of the original but still looks a decent Hollywood movie.

It doesn't look terrible, but what is the rating? RoboCop definitely needs blood.

Going off that trailer I'm getting a 12A vibe

Yeah, I'm affraid it'll probably get the "PG-13 treatment".

So that they can sell Robocop dolls to kids.

Why exactly is he spraypainted black?

I thought the idea was for robocop to be visible? not dressed like a ninja.

It shows it in the trailer, for marketing reasons.

Not a good enough reason, boris. You know this.

Police are supposed to be visible in the community. 2013 Robocop is going against that spirit.

So they can sell two versions of the Robocop toy to kids

Charles - The old film was an 18 and they still made toys of him.

You do realise that RoboCop is a film right? It's not an actual Robotic Cop in Shropshire that has to put signs up in speed camera areas.
They should have had the black armour, with a HIgh Vis Jacket and Checkered black and white stripes around his helmet.

The question I would be asking is why is Robocop BLUE in the 2nd film?!

Besides, how do we know that the black isn't temporary, whilst he is an omnicorp slave?
Notice that in the trailer that he alternatess between grey and black all the way through. The logo's in the trailer are also the same blue/grey colour as the original logo/armour too.

I bought a robocop gun from forbidden planet and fired 3 steel pellets at a time

Felt awesome for the 10 minutes it worked before it broke in my hands - just cheap ****e

This was when the film was first released and I was a teenager

This is exactly the robocop I want to see. Laying down traffic cones and dealing with B&E's at the local co-op.

Second half of the film can be rated R with him loosing his **** and gunning down chavs outside cash converters.

I will forgive them the family friendly rating as long as its a better film than Robocop 2, 3 or any of the other bilge that followed. I'll probably forgive it then lol

I had the ED-209 that took a roll of caps

This would make an excellent fakeumentary. "A day in the life of robocop".
