What film have you watched more than any other?

I'm just curious. I think we all have films that we love more than others for whatever reason. It's not about being cool and saying you've watched one of the highest rated movies of all time over and over again, it's just an honest answer! Me personally, it's national lampoons animal house, and i'm not exaggerating when I say i've seen it over 200 times! (And would happily watch it right now again) I love it so much that I named my dog Belushi after it's biggest star at the time it was made, John Belushi. 200+ views obviously seems excessive, but I first saw it as a kid and i'm now 38..........

Maybe the Lost Boys for me. I love it and so does the wife. Plus it always seems to be on Sky so I end up watching it even when I don't set out to, just because it's on. Another contender would be So I Married An Axe Murderer, which I think is Mike Myers' best work.

    I still believe.......

It easily happens doesn't it, you end up watching the same movie AT LEAST once a year, mine are quite predictable, must've watched then at least once every year since they came out.

      Ferris Beuller
      Total Recall
      Robocop
      Back to the future
      Terminator 2

Then probably a few times less, Howard the duck & Last Starfighter, few ace pleasures.

We definitely need to have the "name the five greatest movies of the 80's thread" too, we've done it in the pub loads of times. Class choices from the pair of you!

Well the movie that I have watched is easily Empire Strikes Back. I used to watch that about once a week for years when I was a kid. Wore it out a couple of times on VHS so I was watching mostly warping fuzz.

Aside from that, I don't know. Probably Day Of The Dead. It's my comfort film. Often I'd rather watch a film I know I like rather than take a chance on one I might hate (probably a terrible attitude) and it's usually Day Of The Dead I go for. Seen Blade Runner and Alien a serious amount of times each too.

Fairly obvious ones for me too:
            Terminator 2
            Big Trouble in Little China
            Aliens
            Die Hard
            Back to the Future
            Ghostbusters

Most likely it's the original Star Wars trilogy, A New Hope probably out of them.

I have seen quite a few films repeated times, but they are mostly between 2-5 viewings each, no one film really stands out.

Off the top of my head I would say any of the following

                This is Spinal Tap
                Trading Places
                Life of Brian
                Withnail and I
and obviously the decent Star Wars films.

Great idea for a thread by the way.

                              A Clockwork Orange, followed by:

                              First Blood
                              Dawn Of The Dead

                              Star Wars
Return Of The Jedi (mum n' gran used to dump us in the cinema on a Saturday afternoon when they went to bingo, saw the entire run!)
                              An American Werewolf In London
                              The Blues Brothers
