Brilliant question, Ikobo!
I find it funny that JazzFunk and Dogg Thang watch Day of the Dead as their "comfort" film! I imagine you sitting down and as Dr. Tongue shuffles into view, you snuggle in and go "aaaaahhhh"!
I find it frustrating that the 21-year-old guy opposite me has seen NONE of these films! Literally, none of them. His favourite films feature Adam Sandler. We've just been discussing the sequels to Dumb and Dumber and Anchorman and he's not seen these either. How can he claim he likes comedies and he hasn't seen these? He's seen Airplane because I let him borrow my copy! I gave him Aliens to watch. He kept it for 6 months and then gave it back saying he's never going to watch it. I like the guy, but *sigh*.
Right, rant over, back on topic.
I've been thinking about this and I was guessing the films I've seen most are the ones that I know the script from.
Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey
The Matrix
Godzilla Vs. Megalon
Aliens
Die Hard
Plus, there's several Kung-Fu flicks where I've watched the action scenes over and over:
Armour of God
Police Story
Enter the Dragon
Wheels on Meals
Matrix Reloaded
In Germany, is Die Hard known as "The Hard"?
Just joshing, I know it's Stirb langsam

Not sure really, not a huge film buff but i'm a massive Potterphile so it is probably the Harry Potter movies! I'm on yet another playthrough as we speak!
Others I have indulged in too many times are Back to the Future, Battle Royale, Titanic, Mighty Ducks, Turtles 2, Initial D, Fast and Furious 1.
Does having kids count? In that case, Ponyo, Kiki and other animes that are on so often in my house.

I've probably watched Highlander more than any other film I own. It's an underrated classic IMHO and I'm amazed no one is remaking it.
My comfort film, which is in all likelyhood just out of sheer nostalgia, is Transformers: The Movie. Awesomely cheesy soundtrack, indecipherable plot to any non Transformers comics readers and some fairly ropey animation. But I still enjoy it.
Like most guys my age I've watched the original Star Wars trilogy loads as well.
And of course I have watched a load of my favourite Kung fu movies over and over. Drunken Master, Wheels on Meals, Armour of God, Iron Monkey, Once Upon A Time in China 1 - 3 and Young Master. All great and viewed at least once a year.
