Quality. I've never thought of linking clips from youtube of what I'm actually listening to.

      ---

After my all-night graft last night I figured it was safe for me to listen to some Killswitch today (End of Heartache album in particular) without me rushing home to jump straight into 'Craft. Nothing makes me want to single-handedly destroy teeming clusters of WoW n00bs more than some good old cock-rock set to 11 on the dial.

(I really want to play now but know I can't >< - it's friggin' torture putting that game down I swear)

      ---

Gonna retreat to the bedroom shortly with my hot Maltesers drink and some obligatory Vangelis. If anyone can recommend some more classic electro chill-out my ears are open, however I find it hard trying to find anything that can topple the big Greek fella when it comes to soothing the senses. Too bad he's not the most active musician on the planet.

Can't you watch it in the embedded video? It works OK for me but here's a link to the same video which should work OK.

          Violet Hill by Coldplay

Also sourced an unreleased fan made album called Castles containing all of Coldplays B-side tracks.

Listening to Thirstin Howl III - Skilligan's Island. Some very good tracks on it, very mid-90's 'true skool'-sounding East Coast cypher/party-type stuff, with lots of rapid spittin'-type raps. Very good for a quid, oh yeah, but maybe not worth a tenner.

Feel bad for saying this but listened to some Jack Johnson last night and enjoyed it. Does this signal the beginning of my demise?

Got Stone Sour in the car at the moment too, what a load of nonsense. Each track sounds the same as the last! That is being replace with some vintage Prince for tomorrow. Am glad I only paid 75p for it in Crime Converters.

I'm listening to loads of Public Enemy at the moment.

When the nice weather arrived on Saturday, I was out and about with the nipper, when I suddenly heard these massive slabs of bass combined with the sounds of a saxophone being strangled and a voice that would have frightened Satan. I then realised it was the awesome Rebel Without a Pause that some genius had decided to blast out of his bedroom window for the benefit of the rest of the street.

After getting home, I quickly dug out my PE albums and haven't played anything else since. Still the peak of hip-hop imo (and arguably all music) and aside from the slight jibberish in some of the rap, hasn't dated a bit. It Takes a Nation of Millions is truly the thing of all things.

At the moment I'm listning to Garbage version 2.0. Still sounds pretty good, even though I havn't listended to it for a while.

Murray Street - Sonic Youth. Love the vocals in 'Disconnection Notice'.

I always find that strange to hear, Fear of a Black Planet for me...

Currently listening to the Battlestar Galactica soundtracks. I'm on Season 2 now. For score, that's my favourite season I think.

FBP is amazing too, but Nation takes the award for the best album for me because of its incredible energy (they mix between politics and piss take is perfectly pitched and the mix with the live recording echoes What's Going On) and the quality of its best tracks. There's some great tracks on FBP, but nothing that can rival Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos or Rebel Without a Pause imo (what can?).

Still we are debating between two the virtues of two of the best albums of all time, so there's always going to be split opinions on this.
