Ash b-sides album 'cosmic debris' which is just phernomenal, just...wow. Just 'how the hell wasnt this a single?' wow, nevermind a f'ing b-side. I'll go to my grave maintaing Tim Wheeler is a GENUIS.

Just had a very quick play through 3rd now so don't read too much into this.
Well it's definately Portishead but it's also very different, it certainly seems heavier to me. It's got bits that make me think of stuff like Tricky, DJ Shadow and even some of the sounds in Kid A/Amnesiac.
It doesn't really sound like any of those but there's a lot more noise in it! I'm really not explaining that very well at all. lol
I found this video which I'm guessing is a single track, not sure exactly how representative this one is though apart from the obvious noise.
MACHINE GUN
EDIT:
Listening to Deep Water now and it's almost Portishead do Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head.Last edited by JP; 28-04-2008, 16:14.

It's just difficult to explain really which I think is a good thing!! I'd be surprised if I didn't like it but I don't want to say "If you like Portishead you'll like this" as I don't think everybody will.
It seems most of the tracks are on YouTube now so have a listen to it before buying.
This is the track list:- Silence
- Hunter
- Nylon Smile
- The Rip
- Plastic
- We Carry On
- Deep Water
- Machine Gun
- Small
- Magic Doors
- Threads
I've had a look to see what official video were up there but there was only the one I posted. Bear in mind that the track I posted sounds a lot better in CD quality than it does there.
