Weezers new album, the 'red' album, still trying to get into it as its my first foray into Weezerworld and i only got it yesterday. The single 'pork and beans' is obviously one of the best things ive heard from anyone in a while, the rest is, well, kooky? Dunno? Not what i was expecting however after a few spins im begining to 'get it' overall..

Get THE BLUE album. Pure aces, especially that massive closer, Only In Dreams. I once had a dream that I was playing that song with Ash, round by our local shops, in the blazing sunshine. It's got superb rhythm and a soaring build-up.

Yeah, i intend to pick up more of the back catalouge, when i get a chance, my local Hmv is doosh though, the only Weezer album they had in yesterday was the new one

New Feeder album - Silent Cry. 'Tis good.

Also the new Disturbed album is decent if you like metal, which I don't mind on the side at times.

Venetian Snares - My Downfall. I must admit that most of Mr. Aaron Funk's other stuff is a bit too extreme for my liking, but this album has really grown on me.

I don't know why anyone would even bother buying CDs from high street stores anymore. The only thing I used HMV for is a price check... before going and ordering from Play or Amazon!

Taking my inspiration from Liberty Rock from GTA4, I've made a boss compilation CD of '80s soft rock. Pure cheese, mind, but it's great for the car when the weather is nice, like today.

Today, I'm listening to The Dividing Island by Lansing-Dreiden. I bought it I think last year some time, having no clue who they were (still have no clue actually) and I love the album. It's one of those ones where the more I listen to it, the more I like it and different tracks become favourites all the time.
