Lonnie Liston Smith's "Bridge Through Time", the only tune that's kept me sane through Christmas, must've listened to it 80/90 times this last few days:

Mumford & Sons. I guess that makes me nerdy in a morris-dancing kinda way and boring and old and such.... but, haha, there we go.

Just listened to Mr Kanye Wests new album. What a steaming pile of crapola.

In comparison to all the independant rap I've been listening to recently anyway.

Anyway, go and listen to Celph Titled and J-zone instead. Funny and belting rap skills.

I love Celph Titled. An amazing voice and great skills.

For the last two days, I've been listening to No.5 Collaborations Project by Ed Sheeran, which I'm totally loving. It's like acoustic-style singer/songwriting coupled with UK grime MCs including Devlin, Ghetts and Wiley and it's a beautiful and unexpected mix. I'm so used to beats getting bigger and bigger that the gentle feel of this was a real surprise. Really lovely.

And, according to his Twitter, it just got him signed to Atlantic Records.

                      Here's a taster -

Ever wondered what the Jurassic Park theme sounds like when slowed down 1000%? Neither had I: http://soundcloud.com/birdfeeder/jur...me-1000-slower

With the new film about him out (My blu-ray hasn't been delivered yet) I've been listening to some of Serge Gainsbourg's work...

                              Anybody remember China Drum?

Finally got hold of their album, Goosefair, but it's not as good as I'd have hoped.

Fall into Place and the hidden cover of Wuthering Heights are awesome though!
