After watching that Scrubs episode built around the song, I haven't been able to get A Little Respect out of my head. So I've revisited a load of old Erasure songs on youtube - The Circus, Ship of Fools, Stop, etc. Bad idea. Decent old tunes, but rotten vids.

It's gorgeous, takes a bit of time to kick in, but is gorgeous. I want to be that man again...

Think I'm going to have to make a purchase next payday after listening to that.

After years of meaning to pick them up I finally got the two albums from Drawbacks (http://www.drawbacks.net/web2/thehome.html), this was the only song of their's I could find on youtube, it's from their first EP back in 2004 or so but their albums went for a more electronic style than seen in this song:

Been listening to Alice Gold and Metromony Solidly for the last few weeks

The Bay is amazing. I've listened to the Metronomy album a good fifty times over the last few weeks, and that song in particular.

I'm pathetically addicted to it.

The English Riviera is filler.
We Broke Free is good
Everything Goes My Way I really didn't like at first, it seemed slow and boring, but now I love it loads, it's fun to sing while walking along the road.
The Look and She Wants are both amazing
Trouble is alright, but it annoys me because it separates the previous two songs from The Bay, and whenever Trouble is on I'm just thinking "SOON IT'LL BE THE BAY!"
The bay. OMG.
Loving Arm I don't have a strong opinion about either way.
Corinne is another song that's growing on me, but I heard them play it live on Mark Riley's show a few weeks back and it sounded totally amazing there, and the album version feels a bit empty in comparison.
Then the last two tracks.

I'm totally loving Ed Sheeran these days, an amazing young talent. And now he's on a track with Devlin, Griminal and Yasmin. For some reason unknown to me, Griminal is following me on Twitter. Check out how he manages to get Ed Sheeran to rhyme with Gwen Stefani -

I've been listening to The Waterboys' The Whole of the Moon, different vesions of it since I got home at 6. I heard it on the radio in a shop today and was reminded of it.

It's probably the mood I'm in but I could listen to this forever.
