A bit of Show & A.G. vintage shizz + some Ugly Duckling vintage snazz:

I really love this stuff right now, plus the hiatus makes it seem even better.

Really into Sufjan Stevens: Age of Adz at the moment, I think I can safely say it's one of my favorite albums ever.

A strange combination of film score, disney singing , electronic robot noises and industrial steampunk-esque sounds. Absolutely adore it.

Been on the west coast vibe today:-

Even if you do not like hip-hop watch the last vid. IMO one of the most original music vids I know of. Must have taken ages to make.

Cool. Did David Lynch direct it?

LastFM keeps beaming me Pharcyde stuff - I guess cos I hearted a Tribe Called Quest track recently.

I've been listening to Digable Planets "Reachin' (a New Refutation of Time and Space)" - a wonderfuly trippy hip hip album.

Very much into my up-beat music atm.

                          Any good recommendations?

The amazing thing about this band is that every year/month that passes i seem to have a new favourite song of theirs, and tracks always take on new meanings....truly testament to how many amazing tracks they produced. God bless Layne Staley, and the only recently deceaced Mike Starr. Miss that era of rock.

The harmonising between cornell and staley about 2/3 into this track truly gives me goosebumps.

Today I've been listening to some of Pink Floyd's more depressing albums - Animals and The Final Cut. Also Amused To Death, Roger Waters' solo one. Miserable. Not sure why I'm putting myself through them but they are great albums.
