Enjoyed that. Love those dirty, acid-drenched synths twisting their way up to 5:00 and then the brief sense of peace and delicacy before the tune picks up again. Top stuff.

You guys might've already heard this already, but if not...

Very reminiscent of late eighties Acid House/ early nineties Detroit Techno (Underground Resistance, Derrick May etc). Gotta love that Roland 909. Now where did I leave that copy of Sonic 2...

An EP by Virtual Boy called Symphony No. None. It's very nice.

Hehe. That tune was very sonic.

Right now I have this oldie playing:

People need to check out Arthur Deep as he's on another level to everyone else as far as Progressive trance, breaks goes. The track Nobody Wants To Die is just incredible and Introvert & Pine Square are pretty damn good too. I have posted them below.

Kicks in around the 55 secs mark. The quality isn't great but the tune is just incredible

I'm surprised more gamers aren't into goa/psy trance as it captures the spirit and 'other worldly' feeling of those early 4 and 8-bit computer game soundtracks.

Anyone who is a fan of the Killer Instinct intro theme music should listen from 1:12 as there is a brilliant and beautiful guitar piece. A melodic piano piece runs from 4:00 through to 4:23 and then another guitar piece immediately kicks in from there and lasts until 5:04 and then immediately follows what i think is the best piano like piece of the whole track. There is so many elements to this tune its unbelievable.

I have also been listening to this lately and what a classic it is!

Been interesting listening to the various vids above.

Currently back into Astrix. This song has some cheesy lyrics but brilliant drops:

I like that track (I have the album). You can't help but admire Infected Mushroom's production skills but I do prefer the stuff from their first three albums which, though not as polished, is more subtle and mysterious.

                        @ Hohum, that track's a beast.

Psy trance fans will probably recognise this one:

Enjoyed both of your songs Hohum and Charlie.
To be honest my knowledge of Goa/Psy is limited to about 25gb or so of tunes I got from my uncle. I've deleted quite a lot of the crapper ones (well, not to my liking anyway) and now have about 15gb remaining, of which I have listened to 10gb or so! Once I've done the last 5gb I'll start looking out for more as I'm sure there are loads of decent tracks and artists I've never heard...
