Thats a blast from the past and no mistake! Did you ever hear the band that some of the members formed after that in the mid nineties? They were called Lodestar and to my knowledge only ever released the one album.

They are described there as 'rapcore' but I wouldn't say so. I havn't listened to the album for ages but I recall some meaty riffs!

Lodestar's album was excellent. Got rid of the wankier elements of Senser's crusty-core rap rock and added some heavy as fook Led Zep style riffing and some cool far eastern influences. Well worth checking out, got good reviews at the time and still stands up well today.

Attention crusties! Step away from the rap-rock!

I saw these years ago and the gig was actually pretty good, but looking back I can't help but cringe at the album. "In a sitcom, eating a whopper, I won't be another happy shopper" has got to be one of the worst "rap" lyrics ever.

Rocked some ghostface - bulletproof wallets, MGMT, pulp this is hardcore/we love life, and a bit of thin lizzy while boozing last night.

"sleeves rolled up around five I'm loosenin my tie.." awesome

Pulp We Love Life is a fantakka album.

Can't say I am a fan of Ghostface though

yeah, we love life when I first heard it I just didn't get it, but it slowly grew on me like any good album does.

                              Laidback Luke mix.

                              Fresh techno and house.

Not put it on for a while but just listened to Spiderland all the way through, on loud. Holy ****, what a record! Genuinely epic. When you're in the mood it's just sublime.

Also been through a bit of a black metal phase recently so been listening to all the Mayhem stuff I'd not heard before. Chimera, track 1- what evil sounds like.
