Listened to it a couple of times now. Aside from the track above and We're All Gonna Die (Iggy Pop... needs to stick to the car insurance ads) I'm really liking it.

Hard to name my favourite tracks without listing most of them, but I really like Ghost. First track and it's great - even if you didn't know the vocalist it wouldn't take too long to recognise him.

            CocoRosie : Grey Oceans

Best thing they've done since Noah's Ark. The album cover is ghastly though.

EDIT: Found some YouTube vids. Here ya go:

            Smokey Taboo.

Know a few of us round here are Mansun fans, I've been listening to them this morning and just discovered this bad boy due for imminent release :-

One of my favourite albums of all time this.

                    Ween - The Mollusk.

Bought on the strength of 'Pink Eye (On My Leg)', which Peter Serafinowicz played on Adam Buxton's mixtape last sunday.

My god, it's brilliant. A bunch of nautical themed songs that couldn't be more varied genre wise, yet they're bound together by amusing moog synths and uh, swear words.

Anyone know any other good Ween albums? This is ace, but I get the sense they're a mixed bag.

I haven't heard The Mollusk in years!

Ween are an interesting band. Apparently The Pod (another one of their albums) was created under the influence of Scotchguard.

I'm listening to Tarantula A.D. : Book of Sand.

Heh. Looked it up and it sounds like the sort of thing I'd love. The Pod that is, not Scotchguard. Supposedly it's Frank Zappa-esque.

Am currently listening to 'The Duckworth Lewis Method'. Which is a ruddy superb album entirely about Cricket!

loved Damien Marley's Welcome To JamRock a few years back and just discovered his new release with Nas (who I'd heard of but never listened to), called Distant Relatives

what a great summery sounding album, sort of fuses Reggae, melodic rap and African drums/sounds.

had it on pretty much constant rotation last few days
