Revisiting the Howling Bells at the moment, I really love this track from their first album

Dummy is one of those rare albums where every track is excellent.
A friend (from Portishead) went to an engagement party with her dad and her dad met Beth. "What do you do?" "I'm in Portishead" "So am I, but what do you do?" Parents eh?

These boys are going to be back with new material soon, which makes me a happy man. Er, vid contains a wee bit of boobage near the end............

Was listening to them a lot this week as a cracking recommendation from the main man Qualitychimp , Gentleman's pistols, put me in the mood for it again. This is my favourite track from their album as it really makes me think of classic Black Sabbath. Why someone has set it over the intro to Austin Powers is anyones guess though.

Black Spiders are ace! That debut album has some cracking lines in it:
          "Eat thunder, s**t lightning!"
"Kiss tried to kill me, it was Gene and Paul"
"**** you and this one-horse town"

Glad you're liking Gentlemens Pistols, they're a bunch of womanising lothario with a penchant for sweet riffs!

You should maybe give Dirty Sweet a bash QC. (But not their last album, it was pish)

Been listening to a lot of The Verve recently, in particular Catching the Butterfly and Gravity Grave. Brilliant, psychedelic songs that really clear my mind and put me in a state of complete relaxation.

Gold star to parkinho for the Verve songs. Best band to appear in the last twenty years in my opinion.

Some trippy dub-trance laced with an Indian vibe:

Cool track by Hecq. I'd imagine some of you will hate this. Needs to be heard on a decent audio setup.
