Yeah I listen to it from time to time for a nice cheery kind of song with soul. Harold Melvin's Wake Up Everybody has a similar but different vibe. Listening to The Scorpions and Bruce Springsteen now, what a weird jump.

        Currently - Paloma Faith

Earlier today, a random shuffle of some other female vocal acts, Nicola Roberts, Marina & The Diamonds, Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves Of Destiny, Eliza Doolittle, First Aid Kit and yes even some Lana Del Rey.

This song from the Lost Boys soundtrack has featured heavily in my listening this week.

this band is involved in my listening almost every single day....love them dearly.

EDIT: where is the option to properly display videos? all the video/picture options have vanished?

If you use the [video] tags it should work

Been listening to Feeder's Echo Park recently. Under the Weather is the standout track for me.

Also picked up Fatboy Slim: Why Try Harder.

Still not sure if he's saying 'funk soul brother' or 'funk so brother' during rockafeller Skank. xD

Ah, so true. Can't beat a bit of Buck Rogers when it starts getting hot.

A are brilliant! Apparently they went back into the studio last year, so I hope to see more of them.

I think one of their best videos is "Number One" off 'How Ace Are Buildings?' because it has Fiat Pandas painted like the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard!
Here's the video, so you don't have the pain of trying to search YouTube for "A Number One", which seems to come up with everything but this video :/

I've been listening to Orange Goblin's new album.

Imagine a modern Black Sabbath singing about John Carpenter's The Fog and you get the idea.

I've also been listening to bootlegs of the Smashing Pumpkins' recent tour and I'm really enjoying some of the new tracks coming out on the album later on in the year, 'Oceania', especially this set-opener, called "Quasar".

                          Cool video that, QC.

Fader, which album is that 'good times' track off? can't seem to find it anywhere. :/

I'm sure many of you have seen this. It was all over the Internet this morning. It's just an extension of stuff already done I guess but, still, the implications are pretty huge. Wouldn't even be the biggest Tupac fan but something about this seemed somewhat emotional for me. Felt a bit odd watching it, even seeing clearly that it's a projection. Close enough to be creepy and yet kind of amazing at the same time. Would love to have seen it live.

For some reason I woke up feeling quite emotional and this was the song I wanted to listen to more than any other.

Fairly certain it was a one-off single as I doubt they would have made a video for a B-side. I never bought it but I watched it loads on Kerrang at the time! I have all their albums (properly bought as opposed to being a pirate!) and they always bring back memories of college days and driving about in my old Nissan Micra lol.
I remember Feeder also did a single only release of "Just a Day" which I have but I think that has been on a greatest hits album since then (It was the tune that was in Gran Turismo 2 and was awesome).

QC - I had never seen that video before! I have to agree with you though, it is horrible searching for anything to do with A. I used to search for Hi-fi Serious and go from there...which reminds me, I need to hunt out that old A t-shirt of mine
