      I remember Feeder also did a single only release of "Just a Day" which I have but I think that has been on a greatest hits album since then (It was the tune that was in Gran Turismo 2 and was awesome).
      Ah, loved Just a Day. I've been going through Feeders older a;lbums (comfort in sound) recently. Forgot how many hits they had.

      Shame about 'good times' not being on one of their albums - really want that track now!

      Is there a particular 'A' album to start listening to (preferably with songs of a similar tone to 'good times') - they have a few up on Amazon.

        Also LOVE Feeder. 'Seven Days in the Sun' was the first single I ever bought. Probably doesn't do much for their 'Rock' image that I was bout 10/11 and discovered it through Chris Moyles playing it every day (he did afternoons back then I think?) while reading my sister's magazines in the back garden. :/

          To get the same tone as Good Times I would say go for the Hi-Fi Serious album as that was around the same time, and you will know a couple of there - Nothing, Starbucks. That was when they were at their peak and it's a cracking album. After that I would go for the Monkeykong one (that song is so good btw), then How Ace are Buildings and Teen Dance Ordinance last - they changed their tone/style slightly on that I guess to keep in line with the changing rock scene at the time. It's still good but just slightly out of line to what they used to do.

            I'm enjoying all the chat about "A" and Feeder. A few of my mates were into "A" in a big way, with one of them having the band logo tattooed on his back. Through them I was exposed to a lot of the music but they are not really my thing. I do have How Ace Is Buildings though, bought for ?1 in a sale a good few years back.

            As far as Feeder goes I have a strange relationships with their music. At the start I was into them in a big way, and I remember going to see Gun (of Word Up fame) just because Feeder were the support. That night I got my original copy of Polythene signed by the band (Jon was on drums at that time R.I.P.), and I has most of the singles and loads of promos. Over the course of the next couple of albums I disliked their more mainstream sound and saw them another 2 or 3 times, each time being worse than the last.

            A few years later they played an outdoor show a few miles from me and my wife was keen to see them, so I went along for old times sake and really enjoyed it. Based on this I re listened to the newer material and was back into them again. After that I saw them one more time and managed to nab a setlist and got Taka to sign it for my wife. They went on a break for a bit after that, and I know they have more new material on the go, but it just seems to wash over me.

I get the feeling that a lot of other dead musicians are going to pop up in this way, probably the big earners like Michael Jackson, Sinatra, Elvis.                 Can do, sir. Think I'll wait until the price drops though - it's ?15 on Amazon.

                Nice to see another Feeder fan on here. I've just picked up a few more of their albums - needed to get my hands on Just a Day after reading this thread.

                Also, found myself listening to a fair bit of Michael Jackson recently. So far, out of all his songs the one that I'm liking the most is Scream featuring Janet Jackson. Very catchy.

                    I heard "Great Things" by Echobelly totes randomly on Sunday's MOTD2 and that's spured on a Britpop (ahem) binge, including the likes of:

                    Lush
                    Suede
                    Dodgy
                    Sleeper
                    Supergrass

                    And some Americans....Veruca Salt, Sonic Youth, Belly.....all the good stuff
                    currently got 60ft Dolls on arf!

                            ^I like all them tracks, but Apollo Brown was being verrrry cheeky with that sample, just adding a slightly squishier drum does not make a track someone else's(!!!) Nevertheless, 'tis on the Walkman now, along with the original and 'We Roll Deep' by The Conscious Daughters!!!

                            Currently addicted to THIS right now, it's not good for someone with Tourette's, it's in my head ALL the time, even at work when I have to do grim stuff, like

                            putting a deceased baby in the morgue fridge the other day

                            What a wonderful link you posted right there. Funny how I can picture that Dredd playing out in my head, probably with raw B&W artwork by (the late n' great) John Hicklenton, though maybe also with Bolland art in pure mono. Superb!!!
