Went a bit silly today and rocked some DJ Khaled in the car. Total bollocks crunk hip hop nonsense, just funny as ****. I particularly respect Khaled's commitment to contributing absolutely nothing to the tracks he puts out, other than phoning up Ace Hood or Flo Rida to do the hook. And all the guests - lol - I wonder whether the bloke can even take a dump without Birdman or L'il Wayne making an appearance.

Spiritualized - Songs in A&E

Surprised this has slipped under the radar as it's a MASSIVE return to form and Jason Pierce's best album since LAGWAFIS. Before he writes his next album I'm going to shoot his dog, as it seems whenever he is faced with adversity, the following album is always amazing.

I'm a massive Spirtualized fan, they're blend of blues, VU, gospel and space guitar fuzz always does it for me. At their best, they are untouchable. They're the band The Verve always wanted to be.

I'm going to see them live in October too. Should be earth-shatteringly good.
