    I'd say so.

If you're a fan of their other stuff, there's nothing new per se, but they still manage to surprise. There's even a track that features the use of Electroplankton!

Detrimentalist - Venetian Snares. Pretty good, not his best, and with a distinct mid-90s rave/gabber vibe. It does contain, though, the splendidly titled "Poo Yourself Jason".

Also listening to the Hungarian album he did, which is boss. It's a bit predictable in parts I suppose with the classical/drum 'n' bass thing, but it works really well for the most part.

I listened to Winnipeg is a Frozen ****hole recently too and it's basically a load of unfriendly gabber. I bet he stinks a bit and doesn't really like people, like Squarepusher.

Got the latest Zappa release through the post today. It's all live stuff from the 70's and there's a good helping of the concerts FZ did with huge brass bands in there.

Which is ace, I love his cartoony take on jazz fusion! There's the odd bit of filler but really it was worth buying for 'Rollo' alone.

        Ruddy genius.

Lust for Life is also very good - but a very different album. Much more upbeat generally and not quite up there with the Idiot (few albums are) but still a classic.

Amazing that both these albums were co-written and produced by Bowie, who also released Low and Heroes in the same year!

Liam Finn's I'll Be Lightning & Verve's Forth is what's getting me through work today.

Funtime is well the best song! the Pop versions of Neighbourhood threat & bang bang school the Bowie ones to death and it would take a lot for me to admit that, LFL is a must get!

                          Imogen Heap: Speak For Yourself

Heard one of her songs called Hide And Seek on the O.C SNL shorts parody on here in the off topic google videos thread, loved it and found out it was her, so went and bought the album. It`s very different and I think some of her songs are really nice. Did not realise she was English either.

Tried to listen to the new Metallica album but its crap imo. They have tried to resurrect their thrash days and have failed totally.
