For all the time I've been into Alice in Chains, I've never heard any of Cantrell's solo work. Is it any good?

Boggy Depot is ace, i find Degradation Trip to drag quite a bit though (although i do have the double disc edition)

You heard Mad Season? I'd definately investigate that first if not

i'm currently listening to the new Modest Mouse album ('We were dead before the ship even sank'). Johnny Marr's induction to the group doesn't seem to have altered their sound much since 'Good news for people who love bad news', which is a bit of a shame, as i miss the spazzed out random **** from early in their career...

        Might be a grower though

Yeah, I've had Mad Season for a while, but I've never really got into it. I might try again though.

New manic street preachers, back to the everything must go era I'd say...pretty loud and rocky.

www.manics.co.uk and you can download a free track from the forthcoming album "Send away the tigers" called "Underdogs"...it's not the best track on the album but it's good I feel.

Awesome and a 80's style breath of fresh air compared to the usual emo stuff

Anyone else heard of them ?

I'm listening to the new Aqulaung album , "Memory Man".
                              I'm loving it.

I expect this one to be the one that makes them well known, its very poppy compared to the previous albums, let the Keane comparisons begin!
