Ash's last album 'Meltdown' which has really grown on me. Im a massive ASH fan and have been for teh years, but they do have a tendency to be a singles band rather than an album band, which is not a bad thing, except there albums tend to be 3 great tracks then a load of doosh. Meltdown is pretty groovy, all be it a grower. Evil Eye and Starcrossed being faves imo Tim Wheeler is a bit of a lyrical genuis when hes 'on'

going back to this, i caught 'polaris' on radio 2 a few days ago, well the arse end of it anyway and it sounded lovely. i picked it up today.

holy poop, this is a beautiful beautiful song. i'm almost moved to tears here, wow.

for the record, i adore songs with violins as backing...

An End Has A Start, the new Editors CD, and Biffy Clyro's Puzzle. Both have been hard to get into (Editors isn't anywhere near as accessible as their excellent debut, and I'm new to the music of Biffy), but I am slowly starting to appreciate both cds.
