This morning, I'm listening to The Dining Rooms - Background Music for your Personal Movies. It's a nice instrumental album. Reminds me of a soundtrack. Something like Little Miss Sunshine or a Wes Anderson movie.Comment

Foo Fighters : Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.
The Foo's never let you down, they really don't.
The final track "Home" is just beautiful, might be the best piece of music Grohl has ever written, just piano for most of the song. The Foo's have never been the kind of band that bring you to tears but the vocals for this bit :
"People I've loved I have no regrets, some I remember, some I forget. Some of them living, some of them dead, all I want is to be home" are sung over a very nice piano and sounds full of emotion...its the kind of track that makes you feel like you'll never hear another track.

I have trouble getting into music these days, I think access to mp3s all those years ago screwed up how I appreciated music. I can't stand indie these days, I'd really like to get into some industrial, or some more electronic stuff. I don't even know the right genres but they started playing Combichrist at the club I was working at and I liked that.Comment
