Da Capo ep23/24 - It's turned up the heat...

I did kinder want this Nemu split to happen, and for Kotori to 'get the win', but having watched those 2 episodes it just to cruel on Nemu, even if i think Kotori is the best girl (heck she's only one who's been 'magicik' that's resisting the best). Asia really gone over the top with her efforts to bring happiness and those quick flashes to her make her look like a right 'Villian of the Week' i fully expect a hard slap to the cheek soon.

They also changed the Ending credits on ep24, something that i never seen done before for 26ep show, unless it not 26ep's but more..... anybody know anything.

Still this second season's not been able to top the first season at all, in stories, fuffy filler and great music.

As far as I know it is only 26 episodes. I pretty much spoiled the series for myself when I came across who he ends up with. I've still not caught up to the recent episodes but what I have seen I definitely enjoyed the first season more. From the sounds of it, it doesn't eclipse the first season but I'll still catch up to it at some point. The 2nd season has been somewhat of a letdown for me especially when I look at how good Canvas2 has been which beats it by a country mile in pretty much every department. The only thing Canvas2 doesn't have is Kotori.

actually now that I think about it, I did prefer the lack of Sakura in DaCapo 2nd season so far(I'm only up to episode 15). Hope she doesn't appear later in the series.

Solty Rei ep16 - agreed with Taka, this episode was quite boring, the only thing that saved it was

the big reveal at the end of Rose still being alive or so it seems. I wonder how they're going to explain it. Like Tobal I thought the person they were doing tests on that we briefly saw in one or two of the episodes after "Rose's Death" was the blonde woman from the RUC and not Rose. Seems we were both wrong.

Wonder how they gonna explain that one, they must have given her a Solty style body and some brain washing. At least now Solty finally going to get a proper fight, and Ray?s out of his drepression at last.

Initial D 4th stage - 23

Man, oh man, now this was one helluva episode! Takumi going all old-skool with the gutter-runs and using the new switch off the headlights trick. You could really feel the tension which has been sorely missing from 4th stage. Can't wait for 24 to send this stage off.

yes, very enjoyable! Watching Sena progress from whimp to less of a whimp, pulling out ass saving techiniques during matches is a must.

Canvas2 ep16 - Another good episode, even though the main story didn't progress. Particularly liked the parody of '24' right down to the splitscreen, the clock ticking down and associated sound effects. Some nice humour in there as well. It's not kicked off like I expected when Hiroki's past and one of the reasons why he stopped drawing was revealed but that's probably because Hiroki is too nice and sensible.

Aria ep13 -

Very nice final episode to a brilliant first season, more of the same aceness(not even sure that's a word). I can't remember any one episode being below par throughout the entire run, they've all been ace. Pretty much all the characters introduced in the previous episodes make a comeback except one new character which I don't remember seeing much before. It's the "gnome" who lives undergorund with other "gnomes" regulating Aqua's gravity apparently. Don't recall seeing him before but it has been a while since I saw some of the previous episodes. And from what Ai-chan was about to blurt out it seems he has a bit of a thing for Aika. I'm guessing we'll probably have an episode where they focus on the gnomes, like they did with the salamanders and the sylphs.

Some nice comedy scenes in the episode as well. Particularly with Ai-chan reading out the descriptions of the people she meets, from Akari's emails.

. Looking forward to the second season immensely.

Ditto, shame we won't seen the 2nd season for while, the 'Character Get' was very funny .

I thought exactly the same thing, i don't remember who the hell these gnomes are, or that character.

those last two episodes of initial D were excellent, great to see takumi's old tricks coming back for the finale.
now they just need to hurry up and do a 5th stage

looking forward to watching petopeto 7 too, havent got a clue what happened last episode after all this time, but its bound to be good.

Oh Dear! wonder if shana will stop Wilma or will Wilma not carry out her threat!! it to hard to tell from the preview, also is this going to be more than 26ep's as it seems there so much more development for the characters than can still happen. I would certainly like to see that kid pick up the sword and start following Blondy around

We have new evil squad of otome with captain Lesbo leading, i wasn't expecting Shizuru just to sit there and 'take it'. Again it seem's if this is a 26ep show there can't possibly be enough time to finish it

**** YES! Wiping the slate clear of the indifferent first season, i really hope they use the technical fights from the manga. And no more dodge animation, studio that did PPdash are doing it

The Art style certainly looks a bit more PPD style, looking that flyer to.

Nice. The first season was as you said OK, but the manga was a lot better. Hopefully this time it'll be closer to the manga in quality.

Mai Otome ep20 - In agreement with Tobal really. Seems they'll either have to carry the show on for another few episodes or have a rushed ending. I can't see how they're going to tie up all the plot points with the apparent number of episodes left. Some interesting things during the episode

At 7:28(during Nina's flashback) you see that container/cradle that the Blue Sky Sapphire Otome(Rena I think her name is) sent the baby off in which makes me think that Nina might be her daughter. This would explain why Nina knows a part of that song and why Arika knows(as she is the daughter of the king/queen whom Rena was Otome to IIRC). But then that also leads to the question who the heck is Mashiro really? and how does she know that song as well?

In the next episode preview it seems Mikoto is back, at least it looks like her. Also Chie is wearing the new uniform that evil lesbo otome had on( while doing the dirty with Shizuru ) during the last part of the episode, perhaps she's turned to the dark side as well? or maybe she has something in mind?.

Still can't believe Mai hasn't made a return yet.

just watched Black cat episode 18 (i seem to be the ony one enjoying this)

this show is one of my favourites now - almost as good as champloo, trigun and alchemist

its nice to see Eve use her powers at last and episode 18 doesnt disappoint
