Eureka7 ep27 - Just to echo the thoughts posted here. That was a fantastic episode and it's building on the previous amazing episodes as well. Not too fond of the new OP maybe it'll grow on me like the 2nd one did but at the moment it's not a patch on the first two OPs, the ED was alright but again I preferred the previous ED.

Never thought they'd get rid of Charles at all tbh. Quite a surprise to see him die, and as Tobal mentioned in such a brutal way to boot. Still not as bad as what came after though. The escape plan was pretty horrific. Yet more questions though and no real answers yet, such as wtf are those LFOs? I mean it moved on its own in this episode. I remember seeing them "growing" out of the mines in that one episode with that old miner guy. So they must be some weird creatures is my guess. I also want to know more about all their backgrounds. We saw a few brief clips in earlier episodes when it was first revealed that most of Gekko state was part of the military. There's also all that stuff Charles was going on about before he died and I'm guessing he was referring to Renton when he said it

. Turning out to be a pretty special series as it progresses.

Eureka7 ep28 continues pretty much where it left of

And now we add Ray's death to the list as well, she went a bit nuts(ok alot) and her dying moments are up there with Beam's, crawling after her blown off arm with the ring on it. Seems Renton gonna get to learn Eureka dirty past, which will certainly be dirty the way her looked away from him. And we get some confirmation one the Taho/Holland/Renton Sister triangle... Taho hates her for sure.

As for the technology it does seem all the LFO's are alive and born, but given external equipment for armor and weapons, which why they bleed when limbs are cut.. we also have 3 types, 1eye(LFO), 2eyes(typeZERO), 4eyes(theEND).

Mai-Otome ep17.. Noooooooooo, that has certainly setup the hate rivalry with a bang.

Eri's an unwilling traitor, i pretty much saw this coming after a student was shown with a black card, she was acting too shifty... but it was certainly needed to get the Nina/Ayeka hate going after Nina killed Eri, not that Nina's needed a reason the jealous freak. Wonder if we'll get the happy ending Mai-hime saw, cos she did goina green ligt..hmmm.

Just finished episode 28, and wowza. Really glad Nanashi decided to release those two episodes together. I'm not keen on the new opening/ending sequences or themes at all; I really liked that the themes had an R'n'B feel to them and now we're stuck with the rock opening theme.

New episode of Solty Rei out too whilst we're at it, though I'll have to check that out in the morning.

Also, there seems to be a raw of the first episode of Ergo Proxy floating around despite that preview mentioning it wouldn't begin airing until the 25th of this month. May check it out due to curiosity.

              Solty Rei 15:

I knew it, Rose isn't dead at all! Instead, RUC pulled some body switch back there and are actually conducting the same experiements on her as they did to Axela in episode 14. The bastards.

                ????

I thought that Blonde women was not Rose but the Blonde RUC women, the give away if the scene afterwards both girls are wears' the same lipstick, and the smile for doing well during the experiment! I'll have to re-watch cos i thought it was Rose to start with, but the next scene with RUC members changed my mind.

Also poor Solty, lots of death for her!

Hate it myself, to much of a Ninja Scroll clone, very predictable and very boring, ugly characters, stopped watching after the 2nd ep.

Didn't expect Ray's death to come so soon after Charles died. I thought she might be around for a few episodes longer at the very least. All in all another very good episode. Eureka7 is on a bit of a roll at the moment. That scene with her crawling towards her other arm was disturbing as well, not as much as the escape plan though. It's been quite gory these past two episodes.

I forgot about them bleeding when they're cut. Certainly seems the signs of them being alive were there before that scene in episode 27.

As for Basilisk, weren't you saying the same things about Solty Rei? You seem to be enjoying that show now. I don't know about Basilisk being predictable, at least for me quite a few things happened that I didn't expect.

Half of the cast getting slaughtered before the series is even at the halfway point and a lot of who kills who style guessing when they faced each other.

But perhaps I might have seen those things coming if I'd been familiar with Ninja scroll. I'll have to catch up on Basilisk as I got to about episode 13 before I forgot about it. Didn't realize it had been subbed to the end.

I?m not much of a fan of Ninja Scroll either, just something about it that annoys me, the hole ninja/gore/rape business and killing for killings sake with no reason just makes it so? embarrassing to watch and Basilisk gave me the exact same feeling.

Dropped Magikano to after getting to the third ep, while the comedy did get better I just hated all the cast apart from the School president girl, and the main girl is just to ugly in looks and personality.

Watched Angel Lemon Project ep1. Very strange voices, never heard a cast like it before and it seems to have the FmwS feeling (can?t remember how to spell it full name? it?s the one with the singing girl with throat cancer) which I like.

Full Moon Wo Saga****e? Might have to get round to watching some of Lemon Angel, as I did enjoy FMWS.

Aye, that?s the one, great show.

Lemon?s missing the deathgods and cancer, but it seems to have some sort of tragic event to a key character in everyones lives, seems to combine pop idol to by the looks of the first event.

basilisk isnt about mindless killing if you think about it though. They are being used as puppets to determine the future successor to Japan. Its just that the clans dont know this and have had their history used against them. As said there is more to the plot than just killing and ninja skills on display. There is also a strong love story that is an integeral part of of the story. kind of look at it as a ninja based Romeo and Juliet in ways.

Its still a good series anyway and worth a watch if you like that sort of thing
and i would recommend watching the movie even if you dont like the anime.

Another vote for Full Moon wo Saga****e here. Only MSF are doing Lemon Angel Project so far from what I can see, their subs any good?

I think I spoke too soon about the current Bleach filler arc being any good, it's already starting to approach Naruto filler levels of tedium...

All these run around in circle games from the mod-soul girl are seriously starting to grow old. At least episode 67 had some funny moments like Ichigo trying to strip Renji and Ishida breaking out the l337 sewing skills to prove he was who he was.
