, in which she replaces herself in each new loop, from timid loser to hardnose killer that last walk animation screamed 'don't **** with me' as she entered the current loop mad me laugh. I like that they dropped reasons why like coming out with the facts didn't work (mami going nuts) and Sayaka seems to have a different deathwish every loop so become alost cause to Homura.. loved that bit after where they both close to death/witch turning and Madoka saves her to put her on the current loop.

be interesting to see if she doesn't loop again being its just Madoka and her left again... at least i can see there bit light at the end of the tunnel. They just need some way to break the loop of Magic Girl -> Witch, which im guessing by QB little line after Madoka dies the first time is to get him enough energy to go away... something i ain't happy about, i want some comeuppance

. Can't name many shows in the last 5 years that have kept me this glued when it comes to drama/action, probably have to look back through the thread to see what we've all raved about inthe past.

Been a barren few weeks for understandable reasons, watched some older shows i'd burned to dvd ages go and haven't re-watched since, Macross-Zero, Kannagi and Seirei no Moribito. The latter being a very enjoyable rewatch.

New stuff

Wandering Son ep9-10 - Ahh man, the Bit with Doki at the end of ep9 had me tensing up for was going to follow, the kids a dick i hope one day he gets some sort of comeuppance.

With ep9 doing the setup for ep10 cringe-athon it was ruined bit by the episode timelapsing all over the shop by combining ep10/11 together(given away in the end credits), but there was still enough to get the idea what happened, the bit with Anna and the breakup was given about 30 secs but at least they filled in some proper sisterly love from Mako who dispite what she say's to Nitori's face his looking out for him which is a great touch.

Also not sure what the Doki thing was at the end the of the episode, was he angry because he couldn't bully Notori anymore or was genuinely unhappy about being hated by him.

. One more episode to, and i'll start reading the manga.

Think the spring anime season's been delayed another two or so weeks (although there are some series which reached ep 12 so some stuff will possibly be starting).

Madoka's finale is apparently going to be aired as a double bill.

I think i would have held on to ep11 till 12 out anyway, watch them together.

Ore No Imouto ep13 - god this show is improves so much with out the sister around, i hope they give it an only anime ending with Ruri wining. The lead up to the 'Rotten' bit was fantastic, could see it coming once they mentioned her name but loved how he coaxed out of her.. and the bit at the end of the episode with just Ruri and Kyousuke

Yeah, Ore no Imouto 13 was great, made me laugh more than anything's made me laugh for a while.

Nana to Kaoru is out and the screen grabs make it look to be a good adaptation. Going to wait for something other than a 30mb version of it though.

New season has started!

Watched Nichijou and it made me chuckle a couple of times (especially the bit with the dog). Perhaps tries a bit too hard at times to be wacky but it's energetic and fast paced enough to be entertaining.

Finished a bunch of animu recently. KnT finished well imo was pleased with that.

New season here woo. Start with the end of the old stuff

Zombie - watched ep11/12 together, decent'ish fight that story wise just didn't make any sense and the fan service finish that was ep12 pretty much summed up how fluff this show is.

Star Driver - ep25 weighted in at 700mb + so i expected some action and got it, only dissapointment was Head's motivation, his lack of comeuppance and no epilgoue.. was just a dull way to finish it off had been 15 minutes of fighting so there has to be 2nd season coming.

I liked the glittering crux(well the faces) coming together to help Takuto and Takuto's punch .

Wandering Son - decent finish but it poor rating pretty much seal this show to a single season sadly, like the Anna make up alot. Started reading the manga, which seems mostly new ground so far as the anime starts 1-2 years inthe timeline after the manga's starts.

Fractule - massive disapointment and it seemed all this killing was for nothing in the end, such a waste of good art and animation with a decent setting. And who would want nessa personality imprinted on them.. be worse than death.

KnT2 - got the ending i wanted, suprisied how full on Shota got when confessing inthe class room followed by massive embrassment. Hopefully season 3 not far off either, hoping we'll get some Ayane focus after playing agony aunt this season, falling behind even Chizuru.

Index2 - last episode just showed how badly paced the show is.. its like JCstaff listened to the fans complaints about season 1 and went full tilt inthe opposite direction, so instead of massive amount of dialogue and plenty of Dragon styled stare-offs while sciene is explained which get the total opposite where nothing is explained and even props appear out of nowhere is nothing explaining how it got there... just where the hell was that piece of glass touma was holding come from and why would he know its bullet proof.

Still dispite its faults i've enjoyed Accelerator being pretty roughless for a anti-hero, the fan service and the shear amount of women/girl's punched in the face always makes me laugh.

and some new stuff

Nana to Kaoru OVA1 - i would have completed missed this had smurf not mentioned it, the brief description made it shound like that awful SM show from last season, but was i got some pretty funny, Kaoru having the balls to try this stuff makes me laugh, especially the way he keeps thinking to himself how far can it push it, started reading what manga i could find its great , got up to chapter 31, do you know how much its out there and are the scans up to date, the 2nd girl and 'breather' that followed have my jaw hanging..

Hanasaku Iroha - easily the best show this season great art and animation as normal from Kyoani. Already like the main characters and setting even if the setup for Ohana ending up at the inn is a stretch, proofed for me when they got some harsh, harsh treatment towards then end which made me rage alitte. Looking forward to the rest, first impressions 5/5

Nichijou - so very, very random, seemed to me like a mix of Azumanga and Pani Poni with some incredible animation even blowing Hanasaku Iroha out water, be brilliant if they can keep it up for a season's worth. 5/5 for me again based on ep1, such a good start to season to find 2 show i want to watch.

Dog Days - read nothing onthis so half way through the episode i was expecting utawamrrow meets Louise's Zero but was certainly shocked when it turned in to takashi's castle with chocobo's. Also having some from come from cornwall i would not expect them to have the most unenglish name going... will give it a couple of episode but so far its not great.

And is there anything more for KnT to do? I wouldn't mind a 3rd season mind. Haven't read the manga so I dunno how the story goes.

ep24 been out for days , as far a KNT goes i've been avoiding manga spoilers but i'm aware there certainly enough for another single season if they make it next year and the manga is still ongoing and popular.

Cool. I'd definitely like to see Ayane get some action.. Maybe even Ryu & Chizuru develop a bit more - they seem to have a mutual understanding though already. heh

The Nana to Kaoru OVA was pretty good (although Kaoru came off a bit more creepy than he did in the manga) much better art than I was expecting. Don't know what chapter number the manga is up to, the latest raw makes the latest arc look like it involves trampling. The latest translated chapter involves Bunny Kaoru.

There's also Nana to Kaoru Arashi which is a side story set during the summer vacation which is slightly more extreme than the main manga and involves the owner of the BDSM store doing a bondage film.

New trailer for this years Doraemon movie, so unfair that i'll have to wait a year for it to hit dvd so i can see it, just once i'd love to get to see one at the cinema. This years is a remake of an 80's one but it looks awesome No other anime gives me that lovely feeling like Doraemon.
