Zombie - watched ep11/12 together, decent'ish fight that story wise just didn't make any sense and the fan service finish that was ep12 pretty much summed up how fluff this show is.

Burned through this last weekend. Was expecting a lot of stupid fan service stuff and while I got that, there was also a ot of humour as well which surprised me. Reminded me a bit of Seto no Hanayome.

Nana to Kaoru OVA1 - do you know how much its out there and are the scans up to date, the 2nd girl and 'breather' that followed have my jaw hanging..

This place has all the latest stuff released. ABS has basically summed up where the raws and translations are up to.

Dog Days - read nothing onthis so half way through the episode i was expecting utawamrrow meets Louise's Zero but was certainly shocked when it turned in to takashi's castle with chocobo's. Also having some from come from cornwall i would not expect them to have the most unenglish name going... will give it a couple of episode but so far its not great.

Supposedly this was meant to be from the same studio that produced Nanoha. I've yet to watch it but I've not heard promising things.

urgh that just reminded myself i was suppose to go back and replace utawamrrow with Utawarerumono(once i checked with google ). I can see the nanoha face design but little else from that ace univrse has trickled down to dogdays.

Toriko - not a proper episode but if thats the tone there taking with adventure+crap slapstick+fighting i'd rather stick with one piece

Battle Girls/time paradox/Sengoku Otome - whatever it' called its total crap, a warring states version of Three Kingdoms+girls anime from last year who's name escapes me, except even worse and lacking fan service.

Got Stein-gate on the go, been hearing good things about it, hopefully its true.

Other than Nichijou, kinda dissapointed with the shows so far. The only things which have been good are things I just don't really feel like watching.

Heard good things about that slice of life drama thing which name I can't remember.

Still, next week is when the quake delayed stuff will start appearing. TWOGK S2 and Maria + Hollic alone will make this a good season.

Dogdays ep2 - vast improvement on episode one and some of that Nanoha style has found it way in afterall with the beam stuff.. i bet before the show ends we'll get a someone doing a starlight breaker. Still nothing great but it's been moved off the delete list for now.

Nichijou ep2 - its tight between this and Iroha for my fav new show this season, the porno drawing had me spitting my tea out bit and the animation kept up to a high standard, i hope get a DBZ style power up every episode. Also the Roll cake stuff, magical

Hanasaku Iroha ep2 -Ohana mother is a right dick messing her kid up like that. Still going strong with Ohana learning the ropes of working a hotel, could see the wave room deal coming a mile off but the outcome was abit unexpected. Great show, enjoyable characters.

Steinsgate ep1 - Could be alright, seems to be about time travel but in a strange way.. stuff like somehow changing the MC's past but he retains his memories of what happened before, interesting so far.

Maria+Holic s2 - Had me laughing out loud alot, pervert dyke is back and worse than ever and the probably one shout intro had me laughing alot.

Ore-tachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai/ Under the innocent sky - Looking a fairly standard VN adaption, with 3 MC's and hundred girls making up the Hareems, at least the forwardness of the characters seemed abit more believeable the standard thicko's like IS guy or Touma. Ending of the episode a total WTF moment, certainly did not expect that.

Next up Kampfer, Hen Zemi, A Channel and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, the last one may be straight for the delete pile, skimming through it quickly gave the wiff of yaoi.

Saw the Hen Zemi OVA and watching it kinda made me feel a bit unclean. Just a bit too sleazy for me. Guess having likable characters (like in Nana to Kaoru) makes a huge difference with this type of show.

A-Channel was a bit too boring for me, probably going to drop it.

Maria+Holic S1 was more of the same which is great. Probably sets a record for the number of times the word Dyke is used in a 22minute period.

That 30 Sai thingy was incredibly bad, awful animation and not funny enough.

Did you end up watching Yumekui Merry out of the last series Tobal? (Or anyone in fact? Tobal's most likely candidate due to him watching EVERYTHING). Any thoughts on it beyond "lol JC Staff"?

Not liking any of the new stuff especially that S&M **** & Nichijou. But at least Gintama is back!

Nichijou unlikable??? I'd say you're in the minority there. As for Yumekui Merry i stopped watching at the second episode, didn't like the look of the villians i think, that and the typical MC/childhood friend/mysterious girl i'd had enough of, and outside of "vagina bones" meme i don't think it was popular in the west, as for watching everything thats just the start of the season . Never got into Gintama either, i think it looked to much like Bleach+dbz demons at the time to be bothered to watch it.

Hen zemi - seems like /b/ came to life in animation, all the characters are pretty unlikable.. the ear/fly thing really made me wince. Willing to give it another episode see if it improves as its only 12mins a ep.

Yondemasu yo - another short episode show, bit of dark humor. Detective uses demon to investigate stuff.

A Channel - Thought it was ok, could really do without another retarded Yui'esk main, another moeblob slice of life with no plot, likely to drop.

Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi - lasted 5mins.. im no fan of this type of stuff.

Gintama is nothing like Bleach or DBZ. Its comedy 90% of the time. It breaks the fourth wall all the time. There hasn't been an episode where i haven't laughed. Love it.

Watched ep 1 of Astarotte's Toy and enjoyed it.

It's a bit like Oreimo in that the concept sounds far more sinister than the show actually is (10 year old succubus has to create a harem so she can 'feed'). Very cute and charming.

Kinda suprised there doesn't seem to be any new pure fanservice shows this season.

It wasn't too bad actually! Kinda felt like a more lite version of Shana. I'm not usually a fan of the whole childhood friend/sister bull**** either but she doesn't really interact with the main character too much (as yet). Quite liked the interaction between main guy and Merry as well. Just a shame that it had to have a Shana-esque JC staff ending where they utterly ruin it really.

It does have the odd action arc but it's nowhere near as extended or protracted as DBZ/Bleach. The only thing it that it does perhaps take a bit of time to warm up to since they spend a bit of time to introduce the characters. It does have some fantastic comedy though.

Persona 4 anime confirmed! Game anime almost always sucks but I could imagine P4 making the jump well.

I quite like AIC Asta, they tend to animate things fairly well, hopefully this'll be decent.

Denpa onna to seishun Otoko was pretty good, utterly bizzarre dialogue (probably not helped by questionable subs) but it's got really likable characters.

The World God Only Knows S2 is more of the same which is good. Only 3 girls this season though.
