i was about to edit Nabari no Ou and Kyouran Kazoku Nikki in , totally forgot about Kaiba.. im only watching it to see what crazy crap happens next. What is Nijuu as its not anything i've picked up yet.

Also alot of shows this season for me have had good op/ed's, the 1st 2 mentioned about have great OP's along with Real Drive and 'meh' comedy romace Itazura na Kiss has my fav ending along with real drive .

The first six episodes at least, are about a kid learning the ropes from a master thief. Episode 6 especially is fantastic. If only for the no nonsense way they go about it. I love the characters too, much like Murasaki in Kurenai, the main female (little kid called Chiko) so far has been great when she had the potential to be really annoying. I think it was either Jeff or someone else who mentioned it but it feels very old-school in a good way though if that makes sense. It sort of reminds of old shows like Lupin III but a bit more serious. Although things look set to change majorly from ep 7 onwards. I have an idea of where it's headed but I don't want to say too much more. Don't drop it before you've reached the end of ep 6 is all I'll say.

Oh yeah. It goes by a few names. Nijuu Mensou No Musume is the japanese romanized. Then there is live-evil's version which they titled The Daughter of Twenty Faces and then there's sudo's version who titled theirs Chiko, Heiress of the Phantom Thief. I went for sudo's myself but I've not heard anything particularly bad about live-evil's (who are also usually faster with the new releases).

So in my quest to clear through my backlog from start to finish, I came to the F section and watched a couple of series called Futakoi. The first one, I'll admit I skimmed through a lot since it turned out to be a fairly generic harem series albeit featuring twins instead. So with great trepidation, I moved onto it's second series called Futakoi Alternative.

Nothing could have surprised me more than to find that this slightly more surreal spinoff with different male lead was actually really good. It was like someone had taken the rom/com narration commentary from Haruhi and mixed in some FLCL randomness just to spice things up. I hardly touched the skip button which for me is rather unusual.

A bit sadly, the plot fails a bit near the end as it doesn't quite live up to the emotional punch that it delivered at the start but for what it did, it was a great series.

edit: Heh. Pretty sweet episode. Reminded me of all the good bits of the series. I do hope they announce another one soon.

Yeah it was a nice little reminder of how charming the series can be. All the clever banter between Horo and Lawrence makes me smile.

Also, Kaiba 7 came out bringing the series up to date. Another head trippy episode though most especially with the memory sequence in the middle. After looking back,

we can say that Popo's the one who altered Neiro's memories in episode 1 to make all memories of Kaiba? Warp? seem like it was him and there was an image of Popo with a knife which had Kaiba/Warp's face on it. The real question is how did they come together and who is Kaiba and Warp. Also, looking back at episode 1, the identity of Hyo becomes a bit clearer too.

I got fed up of Kaiba. It was trying to be too complicated for its own good, i just didn't find it particularly interesting either.

Episode 09 of Soul Eater is out. Its by far the funniest & best episode so far. It made me constantly giggle.

Phantom Thief/20 faces ep1-6 - Glad i didn't miss out on this, although it a bit hard to swallow her ability grow in 2 years timeframe, it is a good show. Reminds me of Kino Travels without the fantasy but thievery thrown instead.. but ep6 had me shocked,

never expected a soukou no stain style character cull, let alone Major and the tough guy.. i was expecting them to go around destroying world war relics but instead we get a reset back to the start but with Chiko far stronger.. i certainly expect Knife boy, Phantom and axe girl to be alive for future episodes and i'm sure after couple of emo eps she'll pull herself together and make her own gang of thiefs from the ending credits.

Mwu La Frag from Gundam SEED, Ilpalazzo from Excel Saga, Luck Gandor from Baccano. He's done tonnes of things the legend that he is. I'll never forget his ultra-gay role in Saber Marionette J where I first heard him.

Edit: As a side note, after finishing Gunslinger Girls, I decided to brave it's second season despite the horror tales. What a horrible mistake. It's an abomination compared to the first season.

I've downloaded loads so far but not watched a whole lot, I would say I'm spending all my time decorating but 3 weeks on and you'd expect a fairly small room to be finished.

Anyhoo, I've seen all there is of Kaiba so far (ep 7?). Loving it, I love weird looking stuff like this. Some of the character designs make it look really old, like public information films but it's all great. Yes it doesn't make too much sense but it's not like an up all night headf**k trip, it's a fun, colourful one so bring it on.

Kurenai will be a grower for me, it's definitely interesting but it wasn't something where the first episode grabbed me so much I immediately had to see more. That's not a criticism by any means, often the best things work that way. Will be catching up and following this one as it gets released.

Seen just 1ep so far of Soul Eater, was different to what I was expecting a lot kiddier. But death and the whole souls thing reminds me a lot of Gregory Horror Show so for that reason I'll have to watch some more

I'm still working my way through Clannad, it's still a bit too dreamy and full of dopey girls for me but it's been worth watching. Think I'm upto ep13 so far and was shocked that

the whole Fuko thing seems to be over, I thought that was going to be the main subject of the show! Is she now only going to make the odd comedy reappearance where nobody remembers her?

I recommended this to a friend but I was finding it hard to describe and she won't take my word for it that it's more her thing than mine.

Got a lot more to watch, keep meaning to devote nighttimes to is but I keep falling asleep!!
