Chiko 7: Once again, I'm left needing more. I'm a bit puzzled about the direction it's taking however -

so she's going to be a detective type person? But then why does it seem there's been a lot of focus on her doing thief jobs? Perhaps chasing down thieves in the hope that one of them might be Twenty face? Also, nice to see the last of the trio appear even if she is being a cow at the moment. Chiko's mother is still amazingly ruthless as always. Bit amusing how she made the lawyer hide behind a curtain though.

Stain: With kurenai it might not be an instant hit with the first episode but as it develops it becomes something very good.

Chiko ep 7 - Lovely series and I'm of the same opinion as Jeff. It's jumped into that must watch next episode asap category.

I had always thought she was going to be a detective type person. I suppose the scrolling THE DETECTIVE GIRLS in the ED helped to cement that. For me, even though she had learned the tricks of the trade, she seemed a bit of a soft touch and not suited for spending a lifetime as a Thief. I can't remember which episode it was but there was something that 20 faces said that made me think he thought the same and that she'd be better on the "good" side. My take on the focus on her doing thief jobs is to perhaps show that she's got experience in that line of work and knows what a thief is likely to do in a given situation, making her an ideal detective (And also to heighten the impact and the sense of loss as we've grown used to the characters and the "family" she lived with). It was this plus the soft touch opinion I had of Chiko that started me off thinking she'd end up being a detective. I also thought it'd be a way for her to start anew and get revenge on the "bad" criminals like Tora for what they had done.

Crazt crackpot theories which I'm shockingly bad with in terms of track record: The detective she talks to in the garden is 20 faces and the man in the robotic armour suit is Tora.

Raki is back and can kick ass.. even if it is a bog standard Yoma thats a step well above a Human thats if Raki is still human, but it leaves a ton of questions, if that girl is Priscilla where the heck is Isly and does he know they're Yoma???... if thats not Priscilla then just what the heck as Raki picked up.

Also decided to revisit school rumble manga, as hearing there actually starting the get serious with relationships and not just stupid misunderstandings, at ch167, 80 odd more to go to catch up.

Chiko is The Daughter of Twenty Faces that also goes by a whole bundle of equally long names but to shorten it down, everyone just calls it Chiko since that's the main lead's name.

thats some trippy and upsetting stuff, I find it really moving/sad.

Although I spent the first 10 mins thinking "I'm sure this was supposed to be about thieves...."

kurenai ep10 - went better than i expected, very little emo and the end lead to what i would have wanted, still he doesn't have a standard power up to tackle that brown suit kungfu bitch other than his blade elbow but theni expect the bodyguard to get some much needed pay back for both them.

Code Geass ep9 - lol, what great episode with zero at his most evil which is funny when he's suppose to be the goodguy ,

i actually felt kinder sorry for the loli with all the crap going on, only to have Zero do his thing at the end, top that off with want till be a personal grudge match between txt girl and Kallen and the return of Orange-kun it keeps getting better and better.

School Rumble ch180-275 - finally caught up with manga, and it seems to be true that we're finally looking to finish off relationships without the standard crap thats gone before it now the 2nd year has finished which will leave us with the 3rd year to sort out all the lose ends as still theres load of relationship to sort out,

Tenma and Karasuma seems set in to stone for the finish now, which means Harima will have to give up(and has by the looks of it) and sort out the Eri or Yakumo triangle. Which is the hardest to sort out, both likable characters and i want to see both to win

Hanai in a surprising 4 way tussle... glasses girl and the 1st year girl don't stand a chance but it could go either way for Sou and Akira(surpise entrance!), with Sou also having Asou still pining for her have 2 breaks, and smaller stuff like Imadori*Karen and Mai*fatboy.

Its a bit crap that the "Third term" is only 2 OVA's(and nothing to do with the actualy 3rd year in school which is yet to happenn) which there is easily enough story to animate 24eps and leave the shows cliffhanger on the end of the 2nd year, till the manga finishes to finish of the anime.

Bit miffed with the Karasuma apparent ending for Tenma although I'm glad it was semi-resolved so far. With any luck we'll see some more development on Yakumo's part since things seemed pretty resolved with Eri's stuff. What did you think about the "English" section way back at the point where the 2nd series ended? They clearly tried to put some kind of deeper plot in there with Harry McKenzie and some other people but I've no idea what.

Speaking of which, from what I saw of the preview, the 2 ova's look like part of the English trip and the Walking trip/adventure which both should prove interesting.

I didn't think Harry had anything to do with the english people turning up, other than his brother? Alll they did was sort out the thugs and then left it at that so whether or not they decided to finish of the 'nobles' in the 3rd year remains to be seen and could provide some Eri*Harima stuff as i think the Eri stuff od far from over, she certainly still has feelings for him as there last time together with the 1st aid help shows.

Im glad of the tenma stuff, she's uninteresting character and hasn't grown much as a character as she always this stupid, kind girl, and with Yakumo and Eri the most popular of the characters it going to go down between them for sure.

also new shana-tan \o/, was brilliant as usual, its quite amazing how they manage to shove that many laughs into 10 mins

Nina. I think she's the character I dislike most in this series. I did chuckle quite heartily at the end when Zero did his maniacal laugh. Also felt sorry for the chinese empress at the end.
