Someone won an auction of mine but its been a month and he hasnt paid. He has 0 feedback, and I want to leave him negative feedback for it. I dont want to risk the possibility of him then leaving me negative feedback in spite, is there a time when its no longer possible to leave feedback for a sale? I want to leave mine before that time, so he doesnt turn round and spoil my 100% positive rating in response.

Marcus, i believe the time limit for leaving feedback is 90 days.

#EDIT# Just checked, it is 90 days.

If I leave negative feedback, and say he then does also, can I contest it - or challenge it in some way? Im wondering if its better just to forget about it or not, as I want to protect my feedback more than worry about someone else's

Ebay won't give a monkey's - both parties have to agree to withdraw negative feedbacks.

Why worry so much one neg wouldnt put anyone off? Leave him bad feedback if he deserves it. There more important things than worring about wether you have a 100% or 99% positive feedback.

I`ve used ebay for a few years now and I`ve done over 240 trades. I`ve come accross a handful of people that don`t pay and you look at their feedback and it is like in your case Marcus, 0.

I report all non payers to ebay and even state this sometimes in my auctions. I had a case once where I had a PlayStation2 on there on a buy now, someone clicked buy now and refused to pay as they didn`t use PayPal eventhough my I stated PayPal only.

I left the buffoon negative feedback and I had a revenge attack done on me where I recieved some. When I informed ebay and gave them the evidence, they promptly removed it and banned the user from ebay.

Time wasters need to be punished Marcus and to be honest, I`m sick of the whole ebay thing now, that`s why I`ve joined NTSC-UK. ebay is full of people that either don`t pay, email you questions that you have already answered in your auction summary and in some cases try to rip you off by saying that "you are bidding for a picture of the item, it`ll be posted to you as soon as I recieve payment".

Do the right thing and get them shopped, Marcus!

File a Non Paying Bidder application with eBay to tell them he hasn't paid. Not only can you get your final bid fees back on the auction if eBay agree you are "teh winn3r", but if the buyer leaves negative feedback, you can ask eBay to remove it if they didn't take part in the discussion about not paying.

Guys, need some advice here... I'm after a U.K. power supply unit for my ntsc xbox360, had a quick look on ebay... will any of these do:

                    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-XBOX-360-U...QQcmdZViewItem

                    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Xbox-360-UK-ma...QQcmdZViewItem

                    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-UK-POWER-L...QQcmdZViewItem

I'm quite clueless as to what all the numbers mean, and I'm guessing none of these are official supply units so I'm a bit hesitant to go for them. However, I have little option to do otherwise, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

                      No no and no mate,unfortunately.

You actually need the next bit down the cable, the big grey block, the bit that converts the voltage.

Looks like people are selling kettle and stereo leads and badging them 360 this,360 that.

Right... so I'll be needing this yeah?

Interestingly, I also tried contacting Microsoft, they said they don't send out replacements or any for sale, so how he got his TWO I don't know.

Thats the one mate. Dont think it will go cheap though tbh.

Do you not just want to get a step down? Be good for when PS3 and Revolution come around aswell.

Well... a stepdown will cost me just over ?50, which isn't an option I'd prefer to take right now since I don't have extra funds, plus I'd want to take my xbox360 around with me when I go back home for vacation, and carrying around a heavy stepdown isn't something I'd look forward to, given the weight of everything else already.

Got my 1st negative on ebay.......... annoyed

oh well i guess it had to come at some point

Shadow the hedgehog was available worldwide on ebay and an Amercian user bids on it and wins it and the auction clearly states its British

                              shadow

now he receives it and tells me it doesnt work

i told him to buy a nice cheap freeloader and that should stop the problem

but he retorts to cheap threats about negative feedback and paypal

told him in my best scottish to chase himself and now i wake up to my first negative, what a complete dumbass

recently sold about 30 auctions and i had 8 problems:
2 American users who bid then realised i was in the UK and just never responded to emails even though the item was listed in Sterling
                              the shadow problem
                              5 non paying bidders

any other members hate ebay and the 90% idiot members?

the place is just starting to turn into a complete joke
