    I dont agree with that.

It may seem petty but unless you state the picture isint a true repusentation of the item then thats fine. If you dont then it's mis-leading and unfair for buyers in my opinion.

Actually your sales blurb is protected by copyright and ebay must (and will) remove the chaps auctions.

        http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/copyrights.html

        about half way down

Here are some examples of potentially infringing auctions:
        • You copy someone else's auction text and (without permission) paste it into your own auction to sell the same item (Making slight modifications to the text may not relieve you of liability if it is substantially similar to the original text.)

It happened to my friend in japan..someone set up a whole account based on my mates and tried to steal his business. Needless to say he lasted about 3 hours

Except your items will never be exactly the same.
          And its breaching someone's copyright.
          And its dishonest.

****! Just missed out on a white ds + pac pix for a great price. Tried to time my bid to go within the last 10 seconds and it had ended before my bid through. I swear the "time left" figure is very inaccurate sometimes.

Cor that'd have been the bargain of the century had you managed to get it at that price.

Bet the winner is well chuffed.

                        ebay feedback question

i got negative feedback on my account, unwarranted...

what happened is an american woman brought a dvd off me, this was brand new and still sealed.... she paid and got feedback for the item, then a couple of days ago i got negative feedback saying the dvd didnt work.
I never got any messages from her between sending and recieving feedback, nor have i recieved any reply to my msg about why the dvd wouldnt work.

I've said to her that it was probably because of the dvd being region 2 and her dvd not being able to play it, as she'd need region 1.

I've also sent a message to ebay through their website, in which i can't state a explanation but i have just gone through the options and said i have been left unwarranted feedback.

Anyone know whether they are likely to get back to me, or whether i can contact them another way about this, as i had 100% feedback uptil then.

Feedback will not be removed by eBay, so it's a waste of time e-mailing them. The only thing you can do is mutually agree to remove feedback, or add a repsonse to the feedback explaining the situation.

some people like to leave negative feedback for no apparent reason. always wait for them to leave feedback before doing so yourself.

Simelar thing happened to me. I won an auction for Jade Cocoon, paid via PO, never recieved the game and got left negative feedback saying I'd never paid. Ebay did **** all to help despite numerous emails.
