Looks ominous as usual and will be up there at the front right away no doubt. KR must be the title favourite right now. Good to see they have totally ditched the day glow Rosso Scuderia of the Schu era for a deeper red.
There's a crazy amount of winglets which look almost like they've just been randomly tacked on all over it.

Shame they are still going with the horrible wheels.

Honda have signed Wurz to be it's Test Driver. Which puzzled me as i thought the guy wanted to give up F1.

Honda now a team full of experience, with rubens and jensen. Aslo have brawn there too so things seem to be looking fine for honda again

But it's a long road to the top in F1.

Another write-off season for Honda me thinks. Well the first half at least. Unless they did manage to develop a decent chassis in the second half of last year I think best they can hope for is best of the rest.

I'd rather Fisi stayed in F1 than Ralf

Senna v Prost '89 at Suzuka on board footage. That Honda engine just sends chills down your spine. Also the serenity of it just gets me as it's like they were all alone in the car yet millions of people around the world were watching as the WDC was at stake. Also the brutal physical nature that possibly doesn't exist today is evident. One missed gear and it was all over. Beyond awesome...

The incident is at the end of part 4

Hamilton has signed for McLaren for the next five years, no surprise I suppose

Popped in the Donington Park Grand Prix Collection this morning cos the wife was out and I was at a loose end. I've lived near Donington all my life and amazingly this is the first time I've ever visited the collection, which I believe is the largest of its kind in the world.

I'll let the photos do the talking...

I was walking around in stunned silence for most of it, because it's simply breathtaking to see so much F1 and Motorsport history under one roof. The place was practically empty as well, which saddens me a little as it means it can't be making much cash right now. It only costs £7 and is well worth it IMO. It's worth that price alone to see that ugly 'Walrus' Williams and the 6 wheel Tyrrell!

There's also a very touching tribute to Roger Williamson in there, too. Roger was a local lad from Ashby and Tom Whetcroft (who owns both Donington and the collection) was the guy who supported him during his racing career.

For those of you that don't know, Roger was killed in only his second F1 race in 1973 thanks to the track stewarts being complete fools. He died in his burning car while the race was allowed to continue, and the efforts of fellow Brit David Purley to save Roger earned Purley the George Cross.

There's a nice tribute here, but I warn you now that the crash is included and it's pretty shocking footage.

The amount of Mclarens is amazing, I mean they even have the off season test liveried cars. The MP4/8 must be the most precious for obvious reasons.

I had forgotten about the Williams walrus. Just think, if it had worked, possibly all cars would look like that today.

So i take it this is the full colour williams are going with?

I hope so but I doubt it. Seems teams often run black testing liveries for some reason. Or have I missed something and we're going to get a black car on the grid at last?

It will be interesting to see how their times compare to Renault today, now that they have their two race drivers in the cockpit.
