Hehe yea I wish. Its weird as I saw it and they had only just announced them as coming out and at the time I really didnt pay too much attention to it. Had a quick look at it of course for the middle seat etc.. but I wished Id stopped and had a really good luck (stopped for packet of fags and off I went again) because I just didnt reliase how rare it was and of course never seen one since.

Some racers are undoubted legends, be it for their general demeanor, Berger is the last of that breed for me or pure ability such as Ari Vatanen or Senna. Others are well open for debate and for me Hamilton is like that. Maybe I'll change my view but till that time I remain to be impressed, and that view is as valid to me as yours is to you. If we all had the same view then it wouldn't be as interesting to read.
Final point is it's not fair to say that there are just a few member on here who seem to dislike him, don't forget by all accounts that feeling is pretty much echoed i the paddock. Gotta ask the question why.
Feel free to contest these views although please don't quote my whole answer as its makes the posts unnecessarily long and thats a view most of us would share :-)

You couldn't see the hypocrisy of telling us that Hamilton was a sore loser throwing his toys out of the pram while telling us how great Alonso is? Of course I'm not saying you can't support Alonso, I'm just saying that you can't tell us he's better than Hamilton by offering what are blatantly examples of Alonso's behaviour.
Lay off the nonsense and I'll lay off the 'personal stuff'... whatever that is.

No, certainly I agreee with the above.
Also, I agree with watching the mood of the posts. Some people in here like Hamilton, some people don't (I'm in this group, but I do think he is a fantastic racing driver and one of the fastest, I just wish he was a bit more humble sometimes). Really, there is no need for bickering and arguing.
Let's all just rejoice at a fantastic GP, a fantastic end to a great season, and all begin praying that between now and March passes quickly

Im not saying anyones better than anyone Roddie Im allowed to support who I want again your saying because I supported Alonso and wanted him to win over Hamilton last year its hypocracy because I dare to disagree with you. They both kicked off at Mclaren I sided with Alonsos view of it which Im allowed to do. Im allowed to say that Alonso in my opinion is great but another driver I think is crap just as much as I can say Lewis was cheated by the FIA for his penatlys/ or he deserved what he got because thats my own opinion. I can have my opinion just like you. Again as Ive said please stop with this bullying I can say what I like regarding the drivers just because you think its nonsense or hypocrisy thats your opinion but you aint going to force me to lay off how I post because you think its nonsense that I dsagree with you. You have accused me before of living in alternative universe because I dared to say an accident was on done on purpose. Again as I said then I can say what I want within means just because you disagree with it doesnt mean you have to get personal over it that should be left away from a forum. Its about F1 it aint that immotive.
Im allowed to put a different opinion to you whether you think its hypocracy or not. I honestly dont know why you can think or say just because somebody else disagrees with you that you can tell them how to post or if they dont its nonsense. Otherwise you might as well just tell people what to say on here. Im allowed to put my views across just like anyone else so please dont tell me to lay off the nonsense and I'll lay off the 'personal stuff' just because you dont agree with us.
Lewis a great driver and hes a hot head like Schummy was when he was young, like Senna was. Hes always been a good driver. It took Shummy a good 4yrs to calm down and Senna well Senna was Senna the god that he is lol He will calm down as he gets older. What matters is it was a great end to the season no matter what way you looked at it.Last edited by Guest; 04-11-2008, 17:01.

I sided with Alonso over it simple as that no contradiction with what happened. I didnt go back and say nope I now side with Lewis over it. Every person who supports a team or driver does exactly the same.
How many on here this year including yourself instantly sided with either Hamilton or Massa on the penaltys whether they where right or wrong. Thats not a contradiction supporting the right or wrong person on the end of the penalty thats being loyal to your driver or your team just as much as two football supporters on opposite sides will swear all day long that the penalty was right or wasnt even if it was/wasnt. If one team said yep penalty then turned around and said no wasnt yep contradiction but Ive always said I didnt like Lewis over the whole scandal and sided with Alonso.
I can quite happily say Lewis is a good driver and he has a great talen and has won races but I just dont like him on a personal level as he is too arrogant which is my opinion. For me I cannot support him because for me he is too arrogant simple as that its got nowt to do with his driving ability I dont gell with his personality. If he changes I might alter that view and appreciate him in the car.
As Spagoli put its not a rare thing in the paddock and the view Im also personally allowed to share that hes not well liked at this time. (be nice to see you take another persons same view point as mine and react to them like you have me).

Personally, I'm a long-time F1 fan who can't stand football.
Anyway, on a lighter note, finally got round to seeing the last day of the Japanese Rally. Glad Loeb managed to secure the title, though Eurosport were definitely trying to scare on the last stage! Looks like the only major title left to be decided is the WTCC; pretty sure Yvan Muller will take it, but double points in Macau could shake things up.
What are we supposed to do for the winter?!

I really hope he does good at Honda it would be great turn of events to see Button back up their fighting for a podium. He did say the car was so bad early on in the season that they scrapped development to put all effort in for next year. I was pretty gutted when Ross left Ferrari so I guess I can cling on to that wish that he does lol Team went seriously downhill when they got rid of Dave Richards though!
