Shame to see Santander sterilise the trophies. It was always nice to see vastly different designs but the bland logo Trophy is severely lacking.

Button and Barrichello were on different tyre's for the last short stint so it wasn't that they had issues with them (they both dealt with what they expected to be problem tyres in the second to last stint without major issues), it was that they just didn't take care of them due to the small number of laps left.

amazing race from Webber, he really deserves this win. Also amazing performance from Rosberg and Sutil (shame about the collision with Raikkonen)...

I think Brawn will be back to fight with the RedBulls in Hungary, like someone said already, Brawns are really struggling in colder conditions... however, Adrian Newey really made an amazing car, I think RedBull will be the team to beat for the rest of the season, Button needs to keep scoring points, I think we will have a close finish at the end of season.

some new rumours about Raikkonen.. : http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/news/2009/...re-after-2009/

they say this season is gonna be his last with Ferrari... 28million for NOT driving in any F1 team !! WTF ?!
I can understand Ferrari though, they really need a driver that can push the whole team forward, and both current drivers can't do it... Massa isn't capable and Raikkonen doesn't care....
If this is true, the rumours about Alonso moving there will be coming as well ofcourse, I do think that Alonso would be a great choice for Ferrari, he proved he is amazingly fast and he can help the team going in the right direction.
The way Kimi is acting now I don't care if he is leaving F1 and I would love to see what Alonso can do behind the wheel of a Ferrari..

No big loss really, out of the car he's as much use as a doorstop, and like you said Force in the car he gives the impression he lost interest in F1 the second he won the championship in 2007.

Alonso at Ferrari is a tantalising prospect, he's still the most complete driver out there, and his laptimes at the last GP were stunning when you think his car is the 2009 Renault.

The best driver in the best team (historically) equals a mouth watering prospect. Personally I am amazed that KR has been allowed to rally at all. I mean, if he was injured or something the insurance payouts would be enormous.

                No F1 in Germany in 2010 ?!

proof of what I thought already from Ecclestone asking crazy amounts of money to host and F1 race...
"We are definitely not available for next year, we are planning only for 2011," Nürburgring manager director Walker Kafitz told Autosport, adding that only a cutback in its race hosting fee from commercial rights holder Formula One Management (FOM) may persuade a change of mind. "Bernie (Ecclestone, head of FOM) could manage it but I cannot imagine that he is willing to accept my wish."

it's really time that someone brings Ecclestone to a halt , it's getting crazier every year...
I cannot imagine an F1 season without going to Germany ! I've been to F1 race at Nurburgring a few times, and the atmosphere is amazing there ! sold out most of the time, big party for 3 days and still they lose big amounts of money when they host the race...

Yup, with Mercedes, BMW and five German drivers, it'd be a damn shame for there to be no race there, but probably not all that surprising...

                    Toro Rosso sack Bourdais:

No great surprise there. It will be interesting to see how Alguersuari performs. Two rookies in a team generally isn't an ideal combination.

With the rumour persisting it seemed inevitable. ;(

Liked him but he couldn't make the transition quick enough if he ever could. Adopt, adapt and improve!

                        Shame.

He was lucky to hang on for this season which I was pleased with, but he obviously didn't improve.

Always rated him myself, but for whatever reasons it didn't happen for him in F1.

great MotoGP race !! amazing battle between Rossi and Lorenzo. there were many different fights on the track (Melandri, Elias!).

good perfomance as well from Pedrosa, nice to see the Honda can keep the pace

Shame about Dovizioso's (sp??) tyre getting shagged, he's a good rider. Good battle with Lorenzo and Rossi. I think Lorenzo's inexperience stood out a bit. He had a few opportunities to get back past Rossi at the bottom of the hill but didn't take them, waiting for an opportunity in the last couple of laps that never came. Should be interesting for the rest of the season though.

Next Sunday is gonna be teh awesome with the F1 followed immediately by the MotoGp.

Excellent race - bad luck for Brad and Scott in 125s though. Big question is, has Elias done enough to keep his ride at Gresini partnering Simoncelli next season or is Melandri gonna be making his return???

Canny wait to get to Donny on Thursday for Day of Champions, must remember to leave credit card at home else I'll be bidding on any old signed Rossi stuff

Shame about the start for Hayden, but Rossi did his thing again and he's really having to reach into his bag of tricks this season.
