Did anyone else see the second F2 race? Crazy amount of red flags and safety car periods and a nasty accident where Henry Surtees was hit on the head by a flying wheel. He was immediately knocked unconscious and flown to hospital, but has died from the injury.

RIP Surtees
It seems to happen every few years still. Theirs been a couple of marshells killed over it in last decade think last one was Melbourne in 2001. If they detach their lethal.

Bloody hell, that replay was quite scary. Can't believe two freak accidents have happened in motorsports within a week. This one could have so easily have been fatal, Massa was lucky in a way. I don't understand how the bar was still flying down the track when it came off the Brawn on a different part of the circuit (and around a corner?).
Very strange session all in all, most bizzare I've ever seen. Have the times been released yet?

My guess is that it's come off Bazza's car, then someone else has caught it under a wheel and flipped it into the air.
Massa seems to have been very lucky there.
And then the timing displays all died at the end, so we completely missed the pole lap. Did like Alonso asking each person in parc fermé what their time was, and Button not realising he was on camera saying '21.5? ****ing hell!'

Hamilton may get himself to the front with the ridiculous KERS system. That'll put the cat among the pigeons.
Saw a good graphic on the MotoGP qualy where a chequered flag appears at the end of the session when it's obvious they won't get another lap. Would help considering how useless Legard is. Today during the qualy he was busy slagging Piquet off when it was obvious he was just about to set a decent (for him) lap.
