Yeah, the lack of testing for Audi's R15 has really hurt them this year; bizarre that they seemed so unprepared. Looks like a cruise to the finsh for Peugeot so I've set it to record while I watch the MotoGP. I'm a Wurz fan, so at least that's some consolation, even though he's been a bit of a moan every time the lovely French lass has spoken to him!

Can Rossi make it past in the last 6 laps?!

For anyone who has even a shred of interest in motor racing, you owe it to yourself to watch that Moto GP race this afternoon in Catalunya.

It was an absolute privilege to watch that, simply the best Moto GP race that I have ever seen, and one of the greatest of all motor races.

I thought I had seen everything, thought I had expected everything, but nothing could have prepared me for that. The word genius is over-used, but here we have a special type of genius - one who, through his sheer strength of will and desire to try anything and everything, achieves the almost impossible (or impossible for everyone else).

It's the type of defining moment that I know I will always remember, and reminds me of the incredible capacity of human beings to compete against one another, and themselves individually.

          Wow.

Damn I missed the MotoGp race, too busy watching the end of Le Mans.

And the Queens tennis final is on now! I'm going to watch the motogp race on iplayer later.

Agreed, the last 5 or so laps were so tense and the last lap was absolutely incredible. I bet the team boss was having kittens. I was up on my feet for the last lap it was that exciting.

Just watched the replay of the last 6 laps. Very good and close racing between them. Something that is so absent from F1 and other motorsports at the moment.

Final lap was just awesome yes. The Master being the master. End of.

Surprised no-one has mention Simon in the 125 race. N00b lol.

We are witnessing a living legend and should savour it.

Last lap was simply unbelievable; most exciting thing I've seen since the last corner of Brazil in the F1 last year.

So my lovely girlfriend got me tickets for Silverstone this weekend. We are going along to the qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday, sitting in the Grandstand on the pit straight. Just wondering what time we need to get there realistically? I notice the gates open at like 5am!!

Well, seeing as no one bought my ticket, I am now going. Have bought my earplugs though so shall wear those on the journey as well.

As for what time I'm getting there, we are leaving at 6am, so should get there 6:40 ish. Which may or may not be too late... I did see the gates open at 5am too <shudder>.

I'll be in Pit Straight A matey! Where abouts are you gonna be?

Anyone know where I can go on a general admission ticket? We're only going Saturday and the website says view from 'banked areas' but doesn't say where these are. I wonder if we can get inside the track? I think I've seen somewhere though that Silverstone doesn't do inside access unless on a VIP ticket though.
