I didn't even check if it was on BBC1, Dutch and their Saturday racing

It was repeated on Eurosport 1 at 8am this morning and is on Eurosport 2 at 3pm today, great.

Loads of Motocross on in next couple of days if that floats your boat.

It does but I only have freeview, I'm guessing it's on Eurosport though

Check out the BBC website for a very brief highlight of the last lap/corner crash if you can.

Perfect as usual from Fernando. 84 pts out of 90! If he carries on like this, a record season is on the cards.

JB has blown it in regards to other teams. I think it's fair to say that the big boys won't touch him with a barge pole now, considreing the way he went about squirming out of his Williams deal.

It's his own fault of course, he surrounds himself with bad advice and the result shows. Karma at work.

My Dad won 2 tickets for the Friday of the Goodwood Festival of Speed through the Sunday Times Excellent, I've not been in 3 years so am really looking forward to it now.

Mansell is going to be there for the first time, Mika Hakkinen, Ren? Arnoux, Troy Bayliss, Derek Bell, Charley Boorman, Sir Jack Brabham, Martin Brundle, Jenson Button, Troy Corser, David Coulthard, Anthony Davidson, James Ellison, Giancarlo Fisichella, Marcus Gronholm, Yukio Kagayama, Jodie Kidd!, Christian Klien, Allan McNish in the LeMans winning R10, Colin McRae, Nico Rosberg, Casey Stoner, Mark Webber are a few of the others showing up.

Some wont be there on the Friday I'm sure but if I see half of that lot I'll be over the moon. Expect pictures, lots of pictures.

            Great example of 'those' marbles:

Wow, marbles indeed. Poor Kimi he just can't string it together. I doubt if he will ever be WDC, he just doesn't have the brains IMO.

Even the Ronmeister is having a go.

I think he'll get there one day, expect McLaren to be mighty quick this weekend, seen a few (unconfirmed) rumours of Montoya going to Williams next year ...

The question is would they want him back though? I am sure Patrick Head and and Sam Michael aren't so keen on a return.

Well the Americian GP was intresting, from the perspective of the championship, but quite a standered race. Not supprising going from previous races but disapointing none the less.

Huge pile-up at the start though and the most exciting driver in the field, Montoya, is looking more and more likely to be in the fireing line to leave the sport next season. Let's hope he get's a place.

I'm getting so crushed Button is exiting every GP with mechanicial failure or what not, hopefully a more solid car will give him a better chance next season.

Anywho Fance will be intresting in 2 weeks. Alonso was looking sure to win but Michael is going to push it to the bone, good stuff!

Expect it to be business at usual at the other races unfortunately, michelin gave false hope to the championship by taking rubbish tyres to Indy (as they had to after last year).

Although that doesnt explain why Fisichella outperformed Alonso...

I enjoyed the race, but agree it was false because of the tyre situation.

Hollis jinxed both the McL's JPM needs to have a GREAT result in France or his F1 career is going to be over real soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this doesn't look like the safest place to put your hands in a rolling F1 car!

I dont think he had much of a say in where his hands ended up!

Yeah he did, you could see in the replay that he was 'bracing' so to speak. Natural reaction I'm sure. Just would have thought that it'd be safer to keep them inside the cockpit (obv not trying to hold the wheel still). Wouldn't be flung about that way and risk snapping them if they hit the ground.

Whatever, it's good to see how tough the cars are and that he could just get out and walk away unaided, even sounded like he enjoyed it!

Yep Kiss of Death Holliss I'm known as, nice to see Alonso having to work for his points for a change though.
Can't see any leading teams signing up JPM tbh, never been a big fan of him myself, and with so many youngsters vying for race seats he'll have to be much more consistent over the coming weeks.

So glad Rossi got 2nd last weekend and Hayden was 7th, made my day, oh and Pedrosa was just a level above everyone else, best MotoGP season for a while, but I'll eat my hat if Rossi isn't champion come the end of the season
