They've been getting better and better recently at Kawa but I'm not certain that Hopper is an out and out winner, he'll get some in his career I'm sure but not every week. Sounds like Capirossi is signed up as you say but not announced yet, will be a good rider line up next year for sure.

Interesting article about the Ferrari/McLaren/Stepney/Coughlan thing here. It gets more and more absurd and sinister every time I read about it, Stepney getting involved in high speed car chases at night, being followed by cars with Italian plates WTF!
MotoGP to race at Indy next season. Track looks interesting, doesn't use the super high speed of the banked oval as much as the F1 boys as I guess that would be far too dangerous for the 2 wheel boys were something to go wrong.
And finally, De Ferran leaves Honda. Reading between the lines he doesn't seem too happy that they are now ****, to be blunt!Comment

The Macca thing could get ugly. Just imagine if they are found guilty? A one year ban is possible which would devastate the team leading to the withdrawal of sponsors. Also, FA would probably leave the team and we would see the demise of the Ronmeister.Comment

F1 make up the rules as they go along though. The punishment will be what's best for the sport first of all and then what is 'fair' second.
I imagine it'll all be brushed under the carpet (but that depends quite heavily on the legal side of things in Italy) or McL will have constructors points (possibly all of them) docked.
Both Lewis and 'Nando are such big draws to F1 that I doubt Bernie would allow anything to get in the way of their title fights.Comment

Bernie does like to favour Ferrari in any disputes/rule breaking though so really don't know how this one will pan-out. Ferrari will want something done, otherwise they'll probably be trotting off to the High Court or something.Comment

JB is tied in next year, it would be suicide for him to worm out of another contract. RB must surely have had no better offer. I'm surprised Honda wanted him tbh, maybe no-one better would take a seat there after this years poor showing?

Rubens is only one season away from Ricardo Patrese's all time GP record. When he looks back, I wonder if he will regret some of the decisions he made or just revel in the fact that Ferrari made him extremely rich.Comment
