            went for a play (bike) session in wharncliffe woods today, maybe 10 miles total... amazingly muggy day. absolutely zero air movement which was awful, sweating like a complete bastard. also scared myself stupid down a couple of descents, ****loads of rocks.

            upside, there was a very cute girl riding about who we chatted to and followed about (cracking arse y'see).

              Ive started running again on the odd days i dont go the gym, which is killing me, also I have tried new classes in the gym to work other muscles i have probably not worked. Boy am i in pain all the time. Did a spinning class, which killed my legs and backside for some strange reason. Damn..........

              Ive toned up a lil bit i can tell, jus wanna thank Night stalker for the helpful advice earlier about 20 minute bursts of running, it makes sense and does work!

              For some reason on the days i dont run i feel bloated, think its probably water retention. Also my appetite has decreased a lil bit which i think is good cos i used to eat loads of crap.

                I get that. Its odd.

                As part of my new "do something constructive" at lunch routine (because I seem to end up working through more often than not lately) I went for an hours cycle at lunch.

                Tomorrow will be a run.

                  I can never be arsed doing anything at lunchtime due to the shirt/tie nature of this place - Changing, running, showering, changing all during lunch break - it's too much.

                        Was at the gym today again pumping iron, done quite well, extra 5lbs on half my weight regimes today. Really punished my bi's and tri's today, were burning at the end, was brilliant. Love the feeling when you just simply cant do a thing more because you think your arms just gonna burst open!



                        There was some guy there today though that I've seen quite a few times over the last few months and he used to be reeeeally skinny and small but now he's huge so I've came to the conclusion he's definitely on steroids or something illegal.

                        I take loads of stuff to help me, 3 protien shakes every day, creatine in the morning and after workouts and nitric oxide before a workout too which is all normal and legal, perfectly healthy stuff that just helps your muscle mass gains, etc. But seeing people taking stuff like this guy must be doing just annoys the **** out of me, its just cheating.

                        I would never do it and I dont know why it annoys me, but it just does. I've put so much work into my training the last 3-4 months and came on leaps and bounds, put on a stone from pure muscle mass building and lost some excess fat around my stomach that was annoying me and I couldnt be happier with the results. I really am very well defined now with solid muscle but seeing this guy coming from smaller than me to bigger than me in the space of a month is just unfair!!!

                        Afew guys I went to school with also done it, you see them one month, then a month later they've just expanded to like 2 stones extra pure muscle, its crazy.

                        A gym my sisters boyfriend went to for a while was only for people who were on steroids, how dodgy is that! He was out of there pretty quickly!



                        Anyway, those people annoy me, but I'm still more than happy with my progression!

                          Rosco mate, every gym has peeps like that, jus the way it is. I wouldnt let that put yah off or even bother yah.

                          Failing that you could pump them roids up yah ass and see if you can catch up to them lol! Im kidding by the way! Keep up the hard work man, i enjoy reading yah progress dude!

                              Rossco, he may be beating you dew to the way he is eating. Are you eating plenty of protein and vegetables? It's the diet that's key to getting the muscles.

                                i have a question -

                                When weight training, whats it mean if yah arms start shaking during a set? What i mean is, is it a good or bad sign?

                                Im not lifting something obscenely heavy, jus a new movement my arms are not used to. Its the one where you have two dumbells in each arm and lift them over yah head and bend yah amrs up and down in a series of reps to work the triceps. Great lil work out, but my arms really struggle afetr the first set.

                                Oh and ive noticed a lil improvemt since doing more aerobic type excercises, lil bit more leaner. Woo hoo! Doing classes is a great way to make new gains and tap into those areas that have yet to be touched!
