I was watching some of the highlights again and on on day 2 Russel Crowe entered the Sky commentary box to work alongside Warne and Nasser. I know he's an Australian but I never thought I'd see the day when a Hollywood movie star would enter a cricket commentary box in England.

3rd Test tomorrow. Am tempted to get tickets for a day. I don't know the absolute availability, but they're on ebay, so its a possibility.

Got Skyplayer now, am well happy. Read the 16 page supplement in the Times (Monday) Am all set.

Bookies have England at 10-3. I'm guessing they don't fancy us too much, plus the weather could be a factor, after all..it is the UK!

When we won the Ashes in 2005, I really felt for Bell, he was the only player out of the whole team that didn't really perform. Make no mistake, he is a quality batsman. I hope he shines when he gets his chance.

      Cmon the 'pommies'

I don't think Bell will cope with the pressure. He lost his place due to under performing and he now has to take the place of one of the best batters in the world. If it stays dry England to win, if not, draw all the way.

I think it's going to be raining on and off a lot, don't think there's going to be many long playing sessions going on. Pending a collapse by either side, I'd bet on a draw.

Bell end has already got injured playing football. Bodes very well.

Yes, went over on his ankle, was on the news the other day. My friends call him Bell End also..poor lad.

He's a very talented cricketer but just lacks the mental game and the bottle to deal with tougher teams and Alamo situations. For example, can anyone imagine Bell batting for most of a last day, with the tail end, to save a test match? No, he'd produce an ungainly waft straight into the slips on about 23.

On a positive note...my Kookaburra Blade Risk bat just arrived! On a sour note..no park play as it is bloody hammering it down. The Bat is a beauty.

Sold a few things last week and won in treble figures at ladbrokes (profit) last week also. Was torn between a Kookaburra and Woodworm Ibat series...Went for the Kooka.

I think Thorpey used the Kookaburra bubble. I know alot of batsman use Kookaburra. I'll be damned if I am buying Pontings bat though. (he is a great cricketer though)

Anyone up for some garden cricket when the rain clears* *If it ever does.

Quite a few of the Australian and Sri Lankan cricketers used Kookaburra bats as well as Thorpe and Stewart. Thorpe used the Ridgback and Goldcrown and Stewart used a Bubble of which there was a limited edition to commemorate his twin hundreds on the 94 WI tour. Some supposedly use other bats but put the labels of their sponsor's manufacturers on them so you can't always tell. Apparently a lot of Newberry and Salix bats are used.

The Kooaburra Goldcrown was one of the best I've had but I do find Kookaburra's break quite easily.

3 Wickets this morn, including Ponting. Clarke is still in. He is dangerous. Onions is bowling sublimely. The ball is moving a bit, bit of swing.

Excellent start to the day, if this continues the match may not end in a draw.

I still think it's looking likely for a draw, especially with more rain on the way. Great morning though! What a collapse!

Holy crap we could actually win this if we get lucky with the rain.
