This is only partially photography, but I thought I'd try some time lapse photography on my 400D

I'm gonna try it again tonight and see if I can get a much better one, as you said it stops just as the sun appears

Great time lapse. What did you use to turn it into a video?

Just used the Windows movie maker that is built into Vista (maybe XP too?), set image transition duration and picture duration (under advanced options) to the lowest values dragged all of the files into the timeline and saved the video. Took all of 3 minutes
