Like the colours, nice and warm and golden.

I "fixed" a shot that had the very top of the coin out of frame by chopping it up further. Not totally convinced it works, and it's the first time I've added a (very small) border.

two, money, macro, monochrome, d50, coin, nikon, close, sigma, number, 105mm

Some nice pics there iamlost - I like this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alanislost/187403936/ - screams "Keep Out" at you.

Nice shot ginger, as Marty said its got great tones.

Nice too Iamlost. I like the same one that marty mentioned. Also, lots of your B&W shots have great tonal range and The Gym and Backstage lighting particularly stand out to me. A great range all in all.

Marty, your fixed coin works for me. I would imagine that having the whole coin in frame would have been dull compared to what you ended up with...

Nice shots of the damage Iamlost. I quite like ruins!

Cheers Gareth - bet if I add it to "hit miss or maybe" it'll get 3 maybes

I'm going to have a play this evening at capturing a wrist watch with some longer exposures, see if I can get some blur on movement with the secondhand.

Nice idea. I tried similar on a digital clock but it didn't do an awful lot other than 8888

Except I left the damn watch I was going to use at work :/

I'm just an observer in this thread but find myself checking it out every other day, really interesting.

I don't have anything of my own to contribute (don't even own a camera!), but here's a few links a mate sent me, pretty cool.

Holy ****, they are awesome. I really want to do that kind of shot, but I kind of lack the basic equipment to do it - ie, a gun

I couldn't get the time pics to come out as I'd liked, so I did this one from Kees's weekly theme competition of trees instead:

And as I've mentioned before, if you take a picture of flowers, it'll get great comments no matter how lacking in artistic merit it is: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1857506...mentscomments/

Sorry, but that's a terrible picture in composition and it's been filtered in photoshop to disguise the technical problems, I'd get lynched for posting that there.

check this for a tree... some 'chainasw art' hiding in the middle of the york maze. i thought it was pretty cool (tree, not the picture...)

It's not that bad, just overdone in photoshop and it's a bit on the messy side. I've seen worse on Flickr That person is obviously a HDR fanatic, and actually posted that nice shot of a deckchair yesterday! http://www.flickr.com/photos/18575062@N00/193466663/

I don't think people realise when to stop with HDR though, 90% of the time it looks awful!

Crisp - that is cool. Chainsaw art eh? Interesting
