I think their servers get swamped at certain times of the day - they're pretty massive. I find uploading can be slow at times too.

A rather strange act from the Streets of Brighton festival.

Thats fantastic Alastair. Really - that is! The focus is pin sharp and you've got the depth perfect - it gives the crowd behind a poster like quality which makes her leap out.

Awesome. Really - awesome. I'm heading over to flickr it to fave it right now,

              Thank you Ish.

I'm off the the horse racing today on a work jolly. Have all my gear with me so we'll see what I can come up with. Main problem at the moment is that it's really dark and raining quite a lot. Maybe I'll find an assistant with an umbrella to stand next to me.

The lady I posted? None of it's PS, she was made up to hell and back as it was a strange performance act thing for the street festival we have here each year. The blurry background people are all down to my uber skills and nothing to do with PS

Would it be rude of me to ask if where you store your photos Alastair - flickr account perhaps?

Most of your photos are just bloody great!

I did some LEGO photos yesterday:

                          Thanks ET.

If you click on any of them it'll take you through to the large version on Flickr, from there you can click on my icon to get to my page.

Please don't do anything naughty with them though, they are all copyright.

I wouldn't dream of it besides, they are all too good to do anything naughty with them

And bloody hell, you are a popular chap with certain photographs aren't you - give yourself a pat on the back.

If its light rain your camera body should be fine. I shot a few like this when it was pouring down. Though i assumed my 70-200 was water proof (it isn't!). The camera and lens survived though. I did take a tea towel with me to wipe the body/lens down after use though.

Great shot of a wierd looking women though! Nice and sharp.
