Nice to see he is showing some humility in defeat. All talk before the fight but he is now speaking very well about Ricky, fair play to the guy as he is a terrific boxer.

I know he was representing all of Britain but first F1, then Rugby, then Football and now Boxing. This has got to be the worst "so close but yet so far" year in English sport ever.

To be fair Ricky was always underdog so it is not really a big a let down as the football which was just terrible. Back to the fight, just looking at the two guys faces after the fight tells a story! Ricky was cut with a few bruises whereas Mayweather looked just like he did when he started the fight, astonishing.

Never really noticed how solid mayweathers build looked until the fight. He looked quite beefy compared to hatton. Also his reach was mega long compared to hattons.

It wouldn't surprise me now if calazahe gets beat by some american dude to be honest. America seem to produce the greats.

If Calzaghe fights like he did against Kessler, nobody will stop him at 168 or 175 imo.
