I find it difficult to stick to things but was thinking about taking a baking class as its one of the first things I actually enjoy and can see myself doing whenever (just the tidy up and shopping puts me off from doing it more often).

Depending on where you live it may be easier than you think I'm sure if you live near/in a big city London, Birmingham etc etc many cafes will be asking for home bakers stock

That looks great. I just have attempted to make a Jerk Marinade for first time and have poured it over some chicken thighs and stuck it in the fridge for tomorrow night. I'm making some rice and peas to go with it, so will report back in 24 hours time once I have eaten it.

Breakfast of champions

3 slices of Grilled Parma Ham
6 cherry tomatos grilled
2 slices of toast
chipotle mayo

Pulled pork quesadilla and ceasar salad was quite average

Couldnt even be arsed to make my own salad today (thanks M&S)

Full roast dinner at the pub was so huge and tasty I have gone without tea tonight. I did have a home made crumble with ice cream though, made by my wife.

Another weekend and another katsu curry for tea, this one is full of sweet potatoes & teeny tiny tomberries amongst other things

Katsu Curry = Good
Sweet potato = bad

Had my first asparagus of the season today. I only eat the Bristish stuff, had it as I always do on a weekend. Par boiled. then cooked in the griddle pan and served with toast, fried mushrooms and a poched egg. Super tasty.

No cooking tonight though as I am off to eat at Theo Randall's place at The Intercontinental Hotel. Been once before and it was the best Italian food I have ever eaten in my life, and that inlcudes several trips to Italy.
