No mate I kinda misjudged the old portion size, it's from that hairy biker diet book but everything else I had tried was alright but this was really stingy on portion which was a pisser as was bloody nice

Last night I made rice and chick peas in jalfrezi sauce(from the bottle. I know it's cheating but I'm Indian so I don't need to prove anything) with chopped tomatoes. It was all mixed together into a not-too-watery risotto, with yoghurt and tomatoes on the side. I'll put the photo up tomorrow but it's not much to look at. Tasted nice and my flat mate enjoyed it. Tonight I'm going to turn the leftovers into burritos. I've got the wraps, cheese and kidney beans, and some salsa. It won't be the least bit Mexican but hopefully it won't taste too bad

        Wish me luck

Loads of effort - was good if a bit hot (used a wax chili with the small greens) hence my reward

          Mmm solero

            Hehe nice going as usual.

Today was the holy union of bacon & eggs, plus crumpets!

Behold crumpet french toast with bacon & maple syrup, the egg transforms crumpets into something amazing when dipped in beaten egg & fried the inner texture is all fluffy. Might try topping them with chilli jam next time.

I don't know who invented it originally but they were a genuis in choosing crumpets, the tiny holes soak up the beaten egg so when cooked the egg is inside the crumpet as well.

Yeah it's not remotely healthy but it tastes so nice LOL, if i stop posting then you know it did me in hehe

Btw, i noticed the shovel with the spoons i take it when your really hungy you do use that to eat?

That curry looked ace. A lack of cooking for me as I am visiting my dad up in north Wales. He views food as fuel, so no fancy food here. However, I am off to Barcelona on Tuesday for a few days to see some friends, and I fully intend to feast away on tapas, sausage, fish, etc.

Wait a second, we've had our fair share of these over the years and have never, never been given a shovel. Want!

Also those crumpet bacon things look awesome.

Made a tasty tea tonight. I had a bash at Tandoori Chicken as I have never made it before and it was great

                        Well happy

Everything about this goes against convention

Turkey meatballs with a spicy marinara on a bed of jasmine rice with parmesean

Turkey meatballs are so much better and also leaner than pork/beef/veal!

In fact the entire plate (7 balls, 50g rice, marinara and parmesean is only 500 calories!)

Said the man that posted a pic of a 7 stack burger king

All of the breakfasts I have made recently are all under 450 kcal so less than a mars bar and a coke, it's how you make it and what you cook it with that determines how bad it is.

My pancakes above this morning have exactly the same calorific value as 4 belvita biscuits (or one packet of them) I just know which I would prefer
