Had pulled-pork BBQ sandwich from the local "Southern Bar-B-Que" joint. Half A1 sauce (ie: like HP sauce) and half sweet-smokey Southern BBQ sauce slathered on that mother. Top notch. For pudding: the tartest, sourest Key Lime pie ever. It was so tart, but so good -- like the dessert equivalent of a really hot but delicious curry. I just had to wince through the pain and keep eating it.

Last night was great. (even if I do say so myself )

Duck breast with a red wine and balsamic reduction, rosemary sauteed potatoes and buttered baby sprouts.

Tonight will be something simple, probably sandwich type stuff.

Edit, change of plan, the wife's going to make Hokkaido cream stew.

Big hangover today, the worst since I went on a diet and it sucks not being able to cure myself with a big bacon sandwich Gonna have a Cottage Pie tonight though and my girl has just gone up the shop to fetch some Cream of Tomato Soup.

Buy him a cook book, something like the new Delia one may well open his eyes as to how easy / satisfying putting a nice plate of tasty grub in front of a mate / your misses can be .
