Can't go wrong with a massive plate of pasta.
I am having slow roasted shoulder of lamb for tea with roast potatoes, green beans and swiss chard. Just put the lamb in now, will be ready in about 3/4 hours.

Had a lousy day so off to Wagamam to try and cheer myself up.

Takoyaki = bleurgh!! I can't reconcile the rubbery octopus in the batter!

Eeurgh. Double Decadence pizza base from Domino's Pizza has just ruined me. The base is two thin layers of dough with a thick rich cheese sludge in between, then you're choice of pizza topping etc. Looked interesting on the advert. Lesson learnt. Stick to ordering Indian curries if I'm feeling lazy.

Decided to try & make Korokke today for tea, if they turn out ok i'll take a pic. If not i'll just lie & say they tasted fantastic Youtube is a fantastic resource for learning new recipes, love to make things from scratch.

I tried that takoyaki stuff today in yo sushi it's not for me sadly probably the nastiest think I have eaten in a long time I do love there crayfish an pumpkin korokke though although the heartburn is taking it's toll now

Theres your problem hehe, you ate takoyaki in a yo sushi, not the best place to try them for the first time, but to be honest they are a marmite kind of food, you either love em or hate em. Personally i love the things however octopus has very little flavour so it really doesn't matter if you dont put a bit inside unless you really miss that chewy texture.

Kabocha korokke from there are really nice though, they seem to get those right.

Bought a pumpkin to make my own korokke but had three failures in the past so decided to try my hand at an American pumpkin pie first missus said was good

2 hours and you still waiting that's pretty damn slow

It finally arrived and was pretty damn epic. I'm super full, although I did break out the Miso soup whilst I was waiting as I needed something savoury!
I'd definately go to the restuarant now
