Not seen the hot Trans-Form-A-Snack, down here it is only the spicy and cheese and onion ones.

They have big bags of Chili Heatwave Doritos in my corner shop for under a quid.

Anyone here entered the Walkers 'Do us a Flavour' competition?

Tried the new Walkers Chicken Tikka flavour earlier, nothing special and pretty bland after eating so many of the McCoys Extreme flavours of late. Skipped the Lamb Curry flavour, cannot stand Lamb.

And, big news, (my local) Tesco's now stock Seabrooks crisps for the first time ever

When I saw the advert I was racking my brains as to what would taste good.

I couldn't think of anything though

"keeley hazells boobs and mayonnaise" *shrug*

Walkers bring back the original Monster Munch - including Roast Beef flavour!!! Yay! Proper old-style bags too

Excellent, hope they go back to the bigger crisps, not the recent small ones. Do hate the Pickled Onion flavour though, always left over from a multipack are they.

Picked up a new lovely bag of crisps yesterday. "Best In" Chilli & Lemon twists, 39p for 40g bag. Lovely jubbly.

They have mate - on the bags it has 'NEW' crossed out and 'OLD' underneath - I've had a bag and they are just how I remember them, especially the monster claw shaped one - it's big and difficult to get in ya gob (oo-er) just like they used to be

I don't remember flaming hot being an original flavour though, but there were 3 I'm sure (because there were 3 monsters in the old advert [which I believe is also returning ], one for each flavour) - roast beef, pickled onion annnnnd........? I can't remember the other one?!

Flamin' Hot wasn't an original flavour no. Will have to put me thinking cap on to solve that one.

EDIT: Spicy Tomato how now do they sound, yum yum.

Not sure about Spicy Tomato David? Past flavours include:

                      Original Smiths flavours:
                      Roast Beef
                      Bacon
                      Pickled Onion
                      Spicy
                      Flamin' Hot
                      Cheese & Onion
                      Prawn Cocktail
                      Salt & Vinegar

                      Walkers flavours:
                      Pickled Onion
                      Flamin' Hot'
                      Spaghetti Sauce
                      Hamburger
                      Roast Beef
                      Chilli Dog

A controversial 'Vanilla Ice Cream' flavour of Monster Munch was launched in 2004 as a limited edition, and was received with mixed reaction. This type of Monster Munch was non-savoury, and contained no salt. Ewwww

At some point there was also a Green Monster, although he may not have actually appeared on any packets. He is mentioned in the 'monster munch munchers' club pack, most notably for his appearance in the story of the 'monster's bounce', where he drank too much lemonade down the monster munch mine and had to be rescued by the other monsters. ROFLMAO

Perhaps it was just Spicy I was thinking of then.

Maybe, I think that was the other main flavour. Flamin' Hot was there back in the day though

Can't even find them on the official pringles website but I got a bag of some new Pringles crisp things from Tesco yesterday - can't even remember the name, but they seem new, which meant introductory price of a quid. Big bag, too. Bargain. Szechaun spice type flavour was the one I opted for, believe others were thai chili, sea salt + black pepper, and some cheese and onion type affair.

Kinda like a cross between a kettle chip and a tiny pringle. Went down very nicely.

They weren't a new line of Walkers Sensations (usually in a white bag) no ?

Does sound like Sensations doesn't it - mainly because those new mini pringles come in bags; the others are all in tubes. Maybe these?
