I remember getting my first ever bag of Flamin' Hot free with that copy of Mean Machines Sega with Sonic+Knuckles on the front. They were piloting the flavour at the time.

    Anyone else remember that?

Just had some of those "limited edition Sun" Tikka crisps. Totally weak. Rubbish compared to Gary's Curry ones.

Saw earlier in local shop that McCoys have a couple of new flavours out, under the "Winter Warmers" slogan, Steak & Ale or Lamb & Mint. Don't like either so passed them by.

Walkers Tikka crips are far too mild yes Chris.

I was just remembering, getting towards Halloween, that a few years ago there was a limited edition of Quavers. They were still cheese flavored, but were in the shape of ghosts.

They don't seem to do them anymore which is a real shame as we bought in a whole box of them for a Halloween party and all our guests agreed that they tasted superior to the normal variant.

I know M&S normally do a load of Halloween crisps, must venture down there as some of last years offerering were splendid (and even better when half price after the event).

I was in there the other day and there was an assortment of grusome named snacks.

Wotsits clones were called 'Witches Toes' for example!

                Extra cheesy are they David?

I wonder if M&S will ever sell Toe Jam - you could have it on scones with clotted cream!

                    Smith's "Football Crazies"?

Red packet with a goalie saving the snacks if I recall......

That is some fine crisp knowledge there, son.

Just had a bag of Frazzles. Still as unpleasantly mouth burningly delicious as ever.

Sainsbury's are charging 59p for a single 40g bag of the old style Monster Munch, thieving gits, almost feel like writing to my MP !

Our local coop charges more for a tiny bag of Wotsits than it does for a normal pack of Walkers but if I remember correctly they used to be the cheaper crisp??

For those with a taste for the hot and spicy try these bad boys:

I opened a tub if them today and they are absolutely brilliant!

Ok, so serious now... Was just on Central news about Red Mill factory closing down.... Yes, the same Red Mill that make Transform-a-Snack and "Mr Porky McPorky Pork's Pork Scratchings" (or something with Pork in the name).

                              Devastated.

                              Just.... devastated.

I'll be pretty annoyed if I can't make my crisp-vehicles any more.

I actually ended up preferring the cheese n onion ones of those to the spicy ones.
