I know where he lives lads, meet you outside around midnight !

Back to reality, found my first bag of old stylee Roast Beef Monster Munch today, splendid stuff, though retailers charging 50p a bag is taking the pee somewhat.

LOL back to reality. If it's any consolation, that's how much the sandwich van that visits our office charges for the retro monster munch.

It seems most of the crisps which were cheaper than walkers when I was younger are now the most expensive..... Co Op here charge about 60p for Skips....

Picked up some of Barry Norman's Pickled Onions today at the Good Food Show. He's a bit of a dark horse as those are some damn fine pickled onions. Spicy as hell!

have there always been prawn cocktail pringles?

Lamb & Mint McCoys. Sounds wrong, but they do taste just like a sunday roast

Crisps are **** since they started using this sunseed crap. I've also noticed bags getting gradually smaller. Aren't they down to something silly like 25g now? Weren't they always 30g, some went down to 28g too. I also saw a supposedly normal sized pack at 22g, I mean WTF?
The crisps are slightly thinner and often nearly transparent which I put down to them using the different oil.
And the prices are up, 50p usually for a pack.
                    Bollocks to them, I say.

Still, at least the good corn snacks like Transformasnack and Space Raiders are the same. Wotsits still seem ok too.

Don't start me off. No, there haven't. And their Thai varieties have to be some of the most vile things I've ever tasted.

Multipack bags are normally 25g, but buy the individual bags (Walkers for example) and you're back up to 35g, does make a big difference - do as I do and just have two multipack bags instead. Crisp & Chocolate (eg Mars Bar) prices are going up and up, especially at local newsagents and the like. A bar of chocolate and a packet of crisps equals about a quid nowadays. Not good.

Hence, I go for the Walkers multipack deals at Sainsburys and the like (currently two multipacks for two quid). Otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford my three/four bag a day addiction.

For what it's worth have never liked Pringles, and must admit got bored of the mini versions after overdosing on them upon release.

Aha, yes, this weight this is a true fact and will teach me not to go to unscrupulous newsagents who sell multipack bags to you at full price. Which is most of them, let's be honest. Large packs of Wotsits though, now you're talking
By the way, you can get 2 x 12 multipacks of Monster Munch at Sainsburys right now for £2. That's just over 8p a pack. The three classic flavours too.

I like the barbecue/paprika flavours in moderation, but the other flavours are awful.

I miss Golden Wonder crisps. Sausage and Tomato in particular.
